Thanks for making this mod, it was really annoying when i wanted to buy some ammo or armors to fix my chinese stealth armor, and i haven't done quest for Pronto or Sydney yet.
This patch didn't work for me, but then again I freed Flak and set both him and Shrapnel to essential before I found and installed it. They both went back to Rivet City, but the dialog options to trade weren't there. Using the Removefromallfactions command on Flak brought the trade option dialog back (found on the fallout wiki). I haven't seen Shrapnel yet but at this point I don't even care now that I can trade with Flak again.
You have to enslave Flak for a quest from Paradise Falls. In vanilla, Shrapnel would wander the wastes in misery afterwards. Now he just mopes around Rivet City selling guns.
