I am sorry to inform you all that I am retiring from the Fallout 3 community
there are various reasons for this; which I don't want to dig deeper into, let's just say that I will never be able to mod this into the game I want it to be
thanks for all the support, suggestions and praise
releasing mods to the Fallout 3 community and the feedback, etc. I've been given has truly been a highlight in my life
anyone is welcome to further modify my mods, as long as I'm given credits (just put my name somewhere)
I still have all the original files, etc. so just P.M. me here or on Bethesda's official forums, if needed
I have not tested on the Steam version, but I'm thinking it could be your Fallout.ini, which needs to acknowledge mods.
Your can either make a search or your computer, or try to find it yourself (it is usually found in My DocumentsMy GamesFallout 3);
Fallout.ini
Open the ini file with a text-editor of your choice (notepad, etc.) and search fro the line, which says;
binvalidateolderfiles change the 0 to a 1
This will make Fallout 3 search within it's Data folder (and this is also useful for getting other mods to work)
And remember that the file-structure in your Fallout 3 (Steam) directory needs to be Fallout 3Data Filesmenus*.xml (where *.xml is the file you've downloaded)
Hope anything of this helps, if not please let me know
I can't seem to get this mod to work. I have the Steam version for Fallout 3, so that might be the reason. In the data file in Fallout 3, there isn't a menu file. So I just copied the menu file from your file and put it in, yet when I wait, it only goes up to 24 hours...
Is there something I'm missing or is it just because I have the Steam version?
