I liked the idea, but don't work for me. Used with and without DLC, Updated Unnoficial Patch, but nothing change. The interaction with the cars simple don't happen.
First of all, this is one of those "necessity" mods. :-D Very good idea. Good, logical source of income and trade. Easier to get the Shishkebab too without having to hack through a million and one raiders.
With that said, I have traced a CTD down directly to this mod. It's weird too, because I was able to enter and leave Megaton at will. But somewhere along the line, *something* happened and every time I went to enter Megaton it would CTD. I coc'd myself into the common house and then tried to leave with same effect. After removing the mod, I could enter and leave Megaton without issue. I took a look at the mod under FO3_EDIT and noticed you changed the World Space and did something to the Megaton house under Sub-Block 9. I tried removing these nodes, for they were "orange", but that didn't help either.
Not sure if you're still supporting this mod, but, if you have time could you please take a good look over this code and see if you can correct whatever is causing this "entering Megaton" issue? I can PM you my load order if necessary. Thanks!

BTW - I have never had a problem until now, so this may be a conflict with another mod I have. I am going to check this again tonight and will let you know what I find. It may be something that is resolvable.
Update - Now I can get it to load the game outside of Megaton, but I can't even save my game in any form without a CTD...
Update 2 - After some thorough research, it appears this mod conflicts with at least Wasteland lights, Broken Steel, Fallout.esm and the Unofficial Patch. You appear to be inserting containers in WorldSpace used already by other mods. It would take a complete and aggressive overhaul to fix this...
Hey Stormhammer, if you want a quick fix to your saves, try this. I had a problem in not being able to save also. Besides I had the Busworld and the Vehicle Salvagable together and got them to work, but had to do something extra to mesh...sort of. All I do before I go anywhere in the game is, when your game comes up, and your up, stop and don't do anything. Don't save either. Console, click your character in 3rd person, and type kill. Your character will die there and then, you will revert automatically to the last save. Try saving then, it works for me every time. I play for hours on end after doing that one time in the beginning. It's weird, I know.Just a little thought to see if that might help even temporarily.

I have some new info. I started a New game and I unwrapped and dragged .esp into FO3GOTY folder. NO FOMM and I don't have to do that Console Kill anymore. I don't know if it was that or beginning a New, maybe both but it works just fine now.
C'mon, smaller explosions? My main wepon is the Browning Grenade Launcher. With it, u can blow up anything and u can shoot like 20 ft in front of u and won't get hurt. And nnot to mention the Supernova blaster! And the HellFire flamer-like mini nuke sprayer. I got myself a WARZONE, and that's it. This ain't no flower picking, guys. It's WAR! AND WAR, THE WAR NEVER CHANGES!
Thank you for this. It always felt like a shortcoming that the vehicles could only be blown up. This interaction of "searching" definitely increases the immersion.

I don't know if it was that or beginning a New, maybe both but it works just fine now.
It crashes when load auto saves, I find. I'm not sure why or how to fix it. Doesn't crash when you load quick saves though.
