Yeah cheers. These kind of mods are a bit underappreciated. They really add something to the exploratory aspect of the game.

I would say if you just made a mod to add more notes to add context to scenes in base fo3 or dlcs, that would be amazing.

But what I was going to suggest, and would maybe be better, is that you could do some for DCInteriors.
Reason being: Everyone uses that mod(it's essentially a DLC), but the issue is when you go to these houses, there's really nothing but stuff. And after a while you just don't bother. The author had put some environmental storytelling that notes could enhance. And you wouldn't know which houses have the notes, which would give players a reason to visit them. It's the missing part of DCInteriors imho, and would make it a much better mod. I thought of doing it but I suck at writing anything apart from code.

I'd be willing to write scripts to make certain notes appear in order say if you wanted a story thread at times or whatever, like after some event or reacting to game events -- people hiding for some reason/leaving for some reason etc. Whatever you can come up with

Like the idea. Agree with you about DCInteriors as I use that also. I'm releasing an update for this soon, then in the future I'm happy to put together some bits for a DCInteriors addon. I can send you it directly for you to manipulate how you wish. Thanks again.

I explored the idea of contributing to The D.C. Interiors Project, using the DCInteriors_Combo edition v2.9.2. As I went through it, I noticed a modest but well-placed collection of NPCs and notes that I found appealing. I began adding my own NPCs and letters/story to the mix. However, I ultimately decided to abandon this due to the sheer scale of the interiors and the challenge of weaving my notes and storylines around the existing content. I don't want to remove any of the established NPCs or force my narratives to awkwardly coexist with the notes already in place. Instead, I decided that the ideas I’ve put together would be better suited as a final update to my current mod.

I also discovered a pre war post office interior included in DCInteriors. After completing my final update, I plan to create an addon that makes use of this space, bringing it back to life, possibly with a short quest. Also I will add notes to the letter and drop boxes from DCInteriors, randomly spawning my own pre-war letters like in my original mod but I don't think I will take this further.

I understand your decision perfectly well, we don't want too much bloat - if you find it balanced as it is, there's no need to spoil that..

I've forgotten all about that post office, looking forward to see your new ideas - thanks and kudos :)

Can I take a moment to say how great the music stinger idea is? Because it's really well executed.
