   What issues arise from quitting main menu? Never had any problems.

      Certain data not being reset properly, it's mainly an issue if you exit and start a new game.

      Mod is a handy idea.
      
      It's a good practice for any modded game to exit to desktop and reload -- unless the game does this itself (e.g., FarmingSimulator, etc) -- and this is especially true if libraries or other framework mods are used.
