Hi there!
This read me belongs to Far Cry 1 OST Music pack for Fallout 3.

If you don't have any other expansions for music, then you can follow "Normal Installation" steps.
However if you DO have other expansions, then follow the "Installation with other expansions" way, which is described a little bit lower.
Otherwise some of your installed tracks might not work!
________________________
Normal Installation:

1) Unpack the archive

2) Drop "Data" folder into your Fallout 3 directory so that it merges with already existing Data folder.

________________________
Installation with other expansions:

1) Unpack the archive

2) Navigate to your Fallout 3 Directory and navigate into "Data/Music" folder.

3) Check the "Battle" folder and remember which number is at the end of the last track ("Battle_XX" -- XX stands for the number you should look at).

4) Open the unpacked archive and navigate to the similar directory (Data/Music/Battle).

5) Rename all of the files there by changing those last numbers,
starting from the next number to which was the last one already existing in game directory
(i.e. if last track in game directory has a name "Battle_07" then you must rename one of the tracks in
unpacked archive "Battle_08", next track should be named "Battle_09" etc.)

5.1) In case of "Battle" tracks you'll also need to change same numbers for all of the sounds in the "Finale" folder in a same fashion.

6) Place renamed files alongside with others in game directory.

7) Repeat steps 3 to 6, but for "Dungeon" and "Explore" folders.

Troubleshooting:

It should be noted that number of tracks in a single folder cannot exceed 99, therefore you can't have more than 99 tracks and you must choose which tracks gonna be replaced by these ones.

In theory this mod shouldn't impact in-game performance, therefore there is nothing to troubleshoot :P

Authors & Copyright:
Tak - made this music from existing samples, all of which belong to CryTek and were originally made by Thomas Bartschi.

This mod is copyright free apart from the fact that all of the samples from which those tracks were made from belong to CryTek.
You can use those tracks in any way you like, they are not copyrighted by anyone,
therefore they can be easily used in YT videos (i honestly don't think that anybody would use them in that way, but who knows).

Enjoy!
