in the screenshots even the lod seems scaled, but in my game even after generating new lod the trees grow when you get closer

Hmm. That's a good point. In the second set of screenshots I noticed there's some distant trees that don't scale correctly. Unfortunately, I attempted to fix this on my own but I wasn't able to figure it out.

Tree LOD is notoriously finicky in these games. Perhaps there's somebody who would know more about it than I do.

the solution was very simple, just scale the _lod files lol
each tree has a corresponding file, they can all be found on the TaleOfTwoWastelands - Main.bsa file

That's strange, when I scaled the LOD meshes I was still getting issues with pop in. I don't play TTW but I'll investigate this again and probably just go ahead and add them.

      Thank you for telling me.

Will there be a version without add-ons?

Hello, boxQueue! These are just standalone meshes without esp/esm. If you are just running the base game of FO3 without DLCs it will work fine without issue.

Thank you for your answer. Yes, indeed, there are only meshes in the file you attached. I didn't look, I hurried to comment. The line "requirements" was a little confusing. The question is off topic. How do you replace mountains in the background? I used to come across a mod that changes mountains to a burnt forest, but I didn't find it on the nexus. Maybe you could do something similar? Not necessarily a forest, it could be, for example, buildings, or something else.

I wish I had an answer. My game looks great except for the sad, glitchy mountains as a backdrop.

Awesome stuff. I have always preferred the vanilla trees for FO3, and this makes them far more realistic.

This is a great idea, I have always found the vanilla trees fits best in this desolate world !

I have a request though, I also use tree animations, would you be so kind to make a patch ?   https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/24778

    Thanks :)

Done, thank you. I assumed you wanted the "recommended" version. Let me know if it doesn't work.

That was quick, I really appreciate this, so now I just have to decide the size !

Thank you so much, an endorsement and kudos for you :)
