reminds me of Cryostasis - Sleep of Reason, where the only method of healing was warmth from heat sources like fires, blowtorches, lamps, stoves, ashes, etc. basically anything that was warm, you could use as health sources. health would sort of drain over time (drastically so when directly outside as signaled by your character coughing and the screen blurring), and you'd have a threshold that increased based on the heat source.

In the config file, you can edit the range of certain objects effects, or completely disable the effects of certain objects.
Just disable steam if you don't want it, or reduce the range.
I'd love to be able to lure enemies into toxic pools or fires and have them melt/burn in them.
