I forgot what this mod does and have been ignoring it. Its a great mod though and as far as I can tell its been working perfectly. I just realized however that its been the source of my problems with Rivet City Reborn and New Air in Big Town (maybe more).. They change the interior cells which is super easy to fix but its just funny to me that I was losing it over a mystery bug. Great work.! Endorsed.!
Yeah, it will conflict with any mod that changes the layout of the cells I've covered. I just need to know what mods people have issues with, so that I can look into making a patch for them. That's not going to happen today, however.
Edit: Well, this has now turned into a revamp of Rivet City Reborn, as there are some noticeable issues when trying to use it together with the Unofficial Patch.
Might be a stupid ass question, but like, my FO3 already runs at 144fps fixed with barely any drops at all (I did some INI tweaking, that's how I got that many fps). Is this still going to help me at all? I'm definitely installing this on my TTW mod setup, but is it really necessary for a vanilla FO3 that already runs perfectly after installing the popular performance mods?
If you never experience any meaningful framedrops no matter what is happening onscreen, then it's unlikely to make much of a difference. And not installing it would also avoid compatiblity issues with mods that change the layout of all the maps my mod covers.
As the file description says, it needs to win all conflicts with room markers, portal markers and plane markers, so yes. Only mods that make major changes to the affected interiors would need to load after mine, but then you'll likely need a patch anyway.
I know about this message, but all of his mods are gone, which seems a bit unusual. And it's my own mod anyway, so I might as well manage it myself, now that I've set up a small Fallout 3 installation to handle it.
Oh, I didn't realize you were the author, that's more than fair then. And good to hear you'll actually fiddle with it in FO3, that's even better! There's been some big mods coming up for the game recently and yours is definitely one of them.
Updating should always be safe, as the position of room markers and portals doesn't seem to get baked into the game, according to my own testing. And this version is mostly identical to the previous upload.

It hasn't been deleted but only hidden, and it seems like it should come back at some point, you could also just message the user and ask.

Keep up the great work btw.
