    Good mod. But I just wanted the vanilha Infirmary with 10 days cooldown each function for the wasteland doctors don't became useless.
    I could easily reach that reading your settings info and with an small modification the script of your mod.

    Just downloaded. Looks like a good concept. I have fallout food and I always felt a little weird knowing I could simply use my infirmary after every outing. Will endorse after some testing.

    Been a while. I started playing some fallout 3 again and figured this mod needed an update, so there you go.

    Mytheos, that is some great feedback and i actualy used some of the suggestions to improve the infirmary. You'll find that the infirmary works a lot better now. It's still nerfed, but when you use it, it will actualy be usefull.

    There's also an additional plugin that you can use. It will remove limb healing from stims, but gives that functionality to medical braces and surgical tubings.

    There's also a Triage( http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5867 ) friendly version of that additional plugin.

    The idea behind this mod is GREAT and thank you for doing it.

    The idea is sound but the execution is a little off in practice.

    Healing : Doesnt heal limbs, only HP. And isnt a full heal per stimpack use, its more of a stimpack booster.

    In practice you might ONLY use this to heal up a little so the doc doesnt charge you the full 100 caps, but a normal stimpack in most cases is enough so this is almost pointless, and the bed 10 ft from it heals you to full for free...

    *Yes there are mods that turn full bed healing off, I use them, but still you need your limbs healed as well, so full HP means nothing when your head is at 5%...you still have to go to the Doc.


    Limb Treatment : The limb HAS to be CRIPPLED...and it uses a stimpack.

    If you use a mod like Triage you probably take care of crippled limbs yourself, so really you just need a way to heal them up...and this doesnt do it. So on the rare case where you have really high health and only a single fully crippled limb ( Odds of this are umm lol ) then yes this would have a point. So 95% of the time you're just going to the Doc anyways.

    Radiation : Seems based on stats and skill many people are running into the situation where just normally using Rad-Away heals more than this...making it pointless at certain points of the game. Even if not it becomes a Rad-Away booster and if you have really high radiation you're probably better off just going to the Doc.


    So all in all the Infirmary goes from God like overpowered to nearly pointless, only having purpose in VERY limited circumstance.


    **Suggestions**

    Healing: Skill check Medicine, 1 Stimpack used, heals % of all limbs and HP = to Medicine skill. So at 50 Medicine 1 stimpack would heal all your limbs 50% and your HP 50% ( Not heal TO 50% but healed 50%, so if you had an arm at 30% health its now at 80% health )

    Based on your skill you might get enough out of it to avoid the doctor, and at higher skill levels your 24hr cooldown balances against abuse..



    Limbs: 1 Medical Brace cures limb of choice to full. You could also make it compatible with Triage where you need a Brace for limbs and Surgical tubing for head and chest

    Possibly some basic Med skill check so less than 40 Skill is 40% limb healing, 40-59 is 75% limb healing, and 60+ is 100%

    Radiation : Med skill check, Rads removed = add a zero to the Skill #
    20 Skill is -200 Rads
    100 Skill = -1000 Rads

    Something more could be done but just some thoughts and ideas.

    I just had My Infirmary remove the same amount of Rads as I would have by simply taking a RadAway. And earlier I couldn't heal my limb injuries because it only recognizes crippled limbs. So I have to ask myself, what's the point of this mod is. While I like the idea, the implementations still needs some work.

    Brilliant. Would it be possible to make the same changes to laboratory (plus increase of payment for getting rid of addiction by doctors)? So getting rid of addiction is little bit harder...

    Rad removal is not balanced.. I can remove double more rads with simply using Radaway than with Infirmary?!
