Introduction
Knowing that I wouldn't see a new Fallout single player adventure for many years, I very recently started playing modded Fallout on my PC. I've been primarily a console gamer for close to 3 decades at this point so I have missed out on a lot of mods over the years and am trying them out for the first time. As of late, I started playing Obscurum - Unnatural Selection (i.e. Obscurum FO3) and noticed that the Black Watch Carbine (modified Infiltrator) used by one of the enemies did not have iron sights. This weapon is not that particularly good but Obscurum can be so brutal in the early game that any weapon you recover is important for survival and I wanted that functionality. This annoyed me to the point that after seeing there were no mods that would fix this problem, I paused my playthrough and decided to figure it out on my own. After several weeks of internet research and tons of YouTube videos I managed to get it working for personal use. Although Obscurum may not be as popular as it once was (I assume), I figured someone else might be interested in this. So, after requesting permission from Thumblesteen (the mod author of Obscurum) I decided to upload and share it. This is the first mod that I have ever made, please be kind and enjoy. -Axon

Description
Adds iron sights support via Iron Sights Plus to the Black Watch Carbine assault rifle in Obscurum FO3.

What this mod does
1. Adds iron sights to the Black Watch Carbine assault rifle found in Obscurum.
2. Adds a new inventory icon that is more representative of the weapon.
3. Changes the "Sight FOV" from 17 (Obscurum's default value) to 52 to be more in line with other assault rifles.
4. Changes the "Minimum Spread" from 2.5 (Obscurum's default value) to 1.5.
5. Removed flag "Don't Use 3rd Person IS Animations" as it was glitching the Iron Sights Plus animations.
No other changes made and uses all in game weapon textures. Used assets from Iron Sights Plus and The Pitt DLC to kit bash a new nif for the weapon.

Compatibility
Not fully compatible with RH_IronSights - FOSE - the model and animations work but the sights are lower than the reticule by a full iron sight height. If you can adjust that then it should be fine.
This is my first mod and only experience with this stuff so I'm not sure exactly what to do. Do I make a new model using RH assets? Do I adjust the nodes on the nif? Will that work? Ideally, I would like to patch it for compatibility like other mods but I have no idea how. Just something I have to figure out and learn as I go - like I did with this mod.

RH_IronSights - FOSE full compatibility (standalone mod or patch)
Once Iron Sights Plus gets support for Weapon Mod Kits and IMPACT I would like to try and learn how to implement those.
