What is this?
If you play on Very Hard difficulty (or any difficulty really) you must have noticed how the game starts to spawn stupidly strong enemies at some point. It's caused by the Broken Steel DLC which added some crazy strong enemy variants to the game. The most common is probably Super mutant overlord, which is not much bigger in size than Super mutant master (360 health), and yet it has 1250 (!) health points. Killing this mofo is almost like killing a behemoth.
Same thing with ghouls. You have the normal feral ghoul which has 25 health. You have the feral ghoul roamer which is a bit tougher with 80 health points. You have the powerful glowing one with 240 health points. And then the game decides to throw at you feral ghoul reaver with 1100 health. WTF?
Don't even get me started with albino radscorpions with 1500 health.
And then there's the infamous Point Lookout DLC. It's filled with swampfolk who, for some reason, are tougher than a deathclaw. And the tribals in the manion which are just men dressed in primitive clothing absolutely wreck you in your T-51b Power Armor. Not to mention that this DLC adds fake difficulty to all enemies by creating an effect called "DLC04NonPlayerDamageAdd" which makes all enemies deal 35 damage to you everytime they hit you with their primitive weapons, no matter how many power armors are you wearing.
I don't know about you but it's absolutely not fun to me to unload 2 full reloads of gatling laser to kill a ghoul or a hillbilly and feel like a bitch in my power armor. This is not even difficult, it's just annoying and not fair.

So I've decided to tinker with enemy stats a little. What this mod changes is:

  • Lowers the health of Feral Ghoul Reavers from 1100 to 300 so they are now just a bit tougher than the Glowing One. Also decreases the damage
    it deals so that it doesn't wreck your power armor in seconds.
  • Lowers the health of Super Mutant Overlords from 1250 to 500 so it's still significantly stronger than Master (360 health).
  • Lowers the health of Albino Radscorpion from insane 1500 to 500. It's still significantly stronger than Giant Radscorpion (350 health).
  • Lowers the health of nearly all new enemies in Point Lookout. Especially Tracker and Bruiser who were tougher than deathclaws have been nerfed from 600 and 700 health respectively to 200 and 250. Also nerfed all Tribals, Smugglers and other kinds of swampfolk. The Tribal Garb armor that Tribals are wearing have it's armor rating reduced from 12 to 5. Come on, it's just a bunch of rags.
  • Eliminates the effect that made all Point Lookout enemies deal 35 damage to you no matter what your resistances are.
  • Mothership Zeta DLC: nerfed the effect that Aliens use to make themselves tougher. It now increases their damage resistance only a bit.

This mod has been created with the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch installed and it requires you to have it.
