Interesting how killing alien babies loses karma. As far as I'm concerned, it's only payback for what they did to us. Vivisections, surgical experiments, turning captives into abominations. I see nothing wrong in turning the tables. Hell, their deaths at my hands were far more merciful than those of their human captives.
I went in with 2000 karma and left with 300 - and that's with a mod that removes the karma penalty from slaying alien workers. Annoying, but it's worth it. They deserved it. And it's very fun to sneak up on a bunch of helpless xenolings, toss a Nuka-Grenade and watch them all go up in flames with body parts flying everywhere. Especially if you have the Announcer mod installed. M-M-M-MONSTER KILL!
Oh well. If nothing else, dropping my karma to Evil will help me get the Rasputin perk for some extra resistances. Let's see if they respawn when the cell resets. Fingers crossed...
(EDIT: Yes. They respawn. I'm going to enjoy this)
There's also a fair bit of slowdown in the alien moonbase. Possible causes? Not really sure. Maybe it's because the whole thing is one zone. It seemed to get better after I slaughtered everything, so it could be the enemy AI routines. Having all of them active at once. I don't know how much you'd be able to do about that, as you stated that you were the translator and not the creator.
Anyway. It's always good to slay alien monsters. You've got my thumbs up.
Really? I used VegasStephen's Scrubbed version of MZC and had only one CtD while second mission with Tyranids. Even though I have very big load-out of plugins with hundreds of other quest and gameplay modifications.
