Hey, I was having an issue where MO2 throwed up this error:
You have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load!
If you want this notification to go away, here are some steps you can take: • Look for updates to the mod or the specific plugin included in the mod. • Disable the mod containing the plugin. • Hide or delete the plugin from the mod.
To refresh the script extender logs, you will need to run the game and/or editor again!
The failed plugins are: • Achievements version 1 (Achievements.dll, Fallout Achievements) reported as incompatible during query.
So I manually installed command extender, disabled all my other mods, and ran the game with just the achievements mod. That fixed the error so I went back and started turning on some of the other mods. And after some trial and errors, I found another problem. It seems that the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 patch for some reason makes the Achievement mod stop working.
I am just putting my experience out here for anyone who may need it.
For the record, I had the same thing happen. The mod seemed to be working fine until I installed the UUF3 patch as a prerequisite for an iron sights mod.
I'm having an issue with the plugin. MO2 throws up the following error:
You have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load!
If you want this notification to go away, here are some steps you can take: • Look for updates to the mod or the specific plugin included in the mod. • Disable the mod containing the plugin. • Hide or delete the plugin from the mod.

The failed plugins are: • Achievements version 1 (Achievements.dll, Fallout Achievements) reported as incompatible during query. • Mod Limit Fix version 2 (mod_limit_fix.dll, FO3 Mod Limit Fix) disabled, fatal error occurred while loading plugin.
I've checked the posts on the Mod Limit Fix page, and the issue has been raised but not resolved. If someone solved this, please share.
I am not using the fose_loader executable, no. I am using a backpatched Fallout 3 executable through MO2, which renders fose_loader executable redundant. Command Extender is installed through MO2 as well. Command extender is not being overwritten by anything and fose.log says it loaded correctly.
i get the same error too, the old version of the mod works but i really want to use this one. i even tried loading in with the fose executable but i got the same error
ps the anniversary patcher already has a mod limit fix so you do not need the separate mod
yes same error plugin C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Data\FOSE\Plugins\\Achievements.dll (00000001 Achievements 00000001) reported as incompatible during query
A user on the Mod Limit Fix page (mod id 24056) claims to have fixed the issue. They did not say how they fixed it. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/24056?tab=posts
Had / have the same problem. I just tried renaming the .dll to zAchievements.dll. This seems to work and the first achievement pops after leaving the vault, at least. Perhaps load order of the .dlls is important. I wouldn't know. The error message is gone, though.
I apologise for not being "helpful", but I have tried to help others who have had the issue and I couldn't find a fix since I can't replicate the issue. If it works perfectly for me on different installs it's very hard to fix the bug
I did look into it a few weeks ago and its definitely possible, just required editing a lot of f3 scripts. I may get around to it at some point when I have some time :)
Is this mod confirmed working with MO2? I tried reinstalling fose 1.3 b2 + command extender + this mod. Installed both command extender + this mod manually. Installed command extender manually and this mod through MO2. Tested multiple combinations of the above. I might have missed something of course. Regardless, that's the only thing I haven't tried yet.
I installed the command extender and the FOSE. but the achievements aren't popping up at all could there be a reason for that? (also the fose doesn't work with the downpatching so how could I use it then. do i launch it with steam or fose?)
The mod does currently work for me, which makes it hard to fix whatever is breaking it for some people. The only thing that can cause it to be reported as incompatible is CommandExtender not loading or the fose version being too old.

My best guess is that you are not using the latest beta version of FOSE (1.3 b2) or don't have Command Extender installed.

Any idea why?
I have also tried with no mods, just updated unoffical patch and Darn UI

Following that, the achievements don't pop for the beginning of the game (getting the PIPBOY, GOAT, etc.).
