For The V2 file. Download the NS hunting rifle replacer. But deselect the .esp in the Mod Organizer that you are using. Then download/install V2 for the meshes to show up.
Any chance of a version without the knock down, I always found that ability a meme that makes the game too easy, typical Bethesda shenanigans. The damage seems good though not ridiculous like a lot of mods on the nexus
Note at the NS hunting rifle replacer mod there's two versions, but for the sake of newbies it might be worth pointing out the included loose files you'd want are the same in both cases, so it doesn't matter which you download if you only need them for V2 of this mod.
Btw, sriniboss may correct me, but if anyone is already using NS's replacer mod and wants to use V2 Ol'Painless Improved from here, I'd imagine you could just add & activate the V2 esp below the NS one. But if already using NS's Ol'Painless-only replacer, I imagine you can probably deactivate that esp, clean save, install and activate V2 Ol'Painless in it's place - at least that's how I would first try doing it...
Good idea - yes I agree. Vanilla Ol'Painless is a good enough unique weapon for the early game, but by the time most players get as far as the Republic they're mid-game, and it's usefulness already dimishing in terms of power and finding other better weapons. Thanks for sharing.
