So um. Does she happen to maybe spawn back in her start spot if you lose her? Because she vanished. I have her immortal, and well. One moment she was following, next time I checked she was gone.
I still have/use the TTw ver of this companion mod I love it btw, but I noticed you removed it. is there a reason why if it it's over personal reason I'll respect your wishes to not to share it, I was just curious I mean no disrespect.
I...gotta ask this here because i can't find answers anywhere regarding this small problem...so i've downloaded Scratch and i've done all the steps to make the mod work...but for some reason the textures on her helmet, teddy bear and jacket continue to...well flicker between different textures, i tried to look up what the problem was and she's the ONLY mod i got installed for Fallout 3...so what could be causing it?
It's probably a good idea to remove the dialogue lines related to tactics, hiring, firing etc., since most of them are either identical to the master or have deleted "Name" text, which crashes the game in conversation with other followers.
The faulty lines are 00037074 and 00037077 in particular.
There's a missing "Name" text in the HELLO record as well, but I don't know if that makes any difference. Likely not.
Can confirm this works. Simply open the plugin by itself in Fo3Edit, you will see all the entries at the top labeled red & yellow. Idk about the first few, but I deleted all the lines that began with Follower highlighted yellow. All of them had something to do with tactics.
If you also noticed, when returning to waiting followers, the line had turned into FollowersLetsGo, this will fix that too. To anyone like me who hasn't touched xEdit in years and was intimidated, it was as quick & easy as downloading the fabulous AI voiced addon, which altogether makes Scratch #1 follower mod to me.
Now, if we had JIP CCAC support, well... that'd be neat.
Yes, everything that starts with "Followers" (in between SpeechChallengeFailure and ScratchGoodbye) can be safely removed without affecting the mod's functionality, since it handles the generic (non-Dogmeat) follower dialogue and none of it is Scratch-specific. The game will just use the respective entries from Fallout.esm.
