Hey guys for some reason Nexus glitched my FOV change instructions and so where it says fPipboy1stPersjavascript-event-stripped 47, it should say fPipboy1stPersonFOV. I tried to change it but after saving it still said the same thing so.. Yeah pretty weird lol but anyhow here's a comment rectifying that. IDK if this is only on my end but just in case, I figured I should leave this. Thanks!

Hey Tyler. I'm importing the main files to the Fallout 3, if your users needed to look for the base files (Both replace and non-replacer) without have to go through the New Vegas page.

The non-replacer doesn't contained the ESP, since you already have it. Only texture and meshes. So, this still a hard requirement.

Okay, I've changed the requirements to the FO3 version of the assets.

I would love an actual replacer version.
    Awesome mod btw. Thanks!

If you want the Pip-Boy 3000 to be replaced, then just manually install the original replacer mod from the FNV nexus and drag and drop it into the data folder. I did that originally which is how I learned that the textures from that mod would work in FO3. I unfortunately won't make a replacer version BC the original already serves that purpose plus I made this for personal use and liked having the option to swap between the Pip-Boy 3000 and the Pip-Boy 2000 since any extra player choice is a good thing in my book. I appreciate you giving my mod a shot though, thanks!

      Ooohh...
Didn't know that would be possible...

I'm not new to modding in genereal, but I'm just started modding FO3 and FNV in particular
and didn't know that it's possible to use some mods like that in both of them.

Thanks for the heads up, I will give it a try.

Only texture mods mostly BC the two games share the same engine and some of the same textures. I wouldn't use any mod that requires an esp or NVSE to function though as that won't work and could break the game.

I tried following your advice but my pip-boy is unchanged. Are the new vegas file paths not working? I even checked load loose files in the launcher. I'm not using FOSE if that helps any.

EDIT - I forgot to run ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated.

Bingo! Archive Invalidation must be ACTIVE for the mod to work. I should probably put that as a requirement but I forgot. My mistake, glad you got it all worked out though.

    @TylerDJ123,
How to make the screen of this pip boy clean without those stupid effects, those scan lines??? :(

Just download the optional remove scan lines option from the OG FNV mod and then drag and drop. This mod is also compatible with other Pipboy 2000 MK VI texture mods that use the OG as a base.

EDIT: The file you need to download is called Model Without Static. DO note that the working clock module will NOT work with this mod as it requires NVSE to function. I know you didn't ask about that but you might see it whilst downloading the static fix so I figured I'd just save you some time.

Like it's white when first equipped or randomly turns white? If it's the former then saving and then loading said save fixes the white screen bug. If it's the latter then I don't know, could be a mod conflict but weather or lighting mods shouldn't be a problem at all. I use a few weather mods and lighting mods as well as various other mods including big ones like Alton on my current playthrough which I've been playing for a good while now and have never experienced that issue outside of the initial white screen bug when first equipping the Pip-Boy.

Hmm.. Must be a conflict. There's not much I can really do as I never experienced this issue in all my hours of playing with this mod. Any mod that affects the Pip-Boy other than mods that remove the glove will most likely conflict so that's probably your issue. Sorry I can't really be of any help. I have no idea what could be causing it but I DO know it's definitely not this mod alone causing the issue. It's gotta be a conflict but the only way to know for sure would be to disable mods individually until you find the culprit.

It's easily accessible from the terminal but sure the ID is..

      PipBoy2000MKVI

Edit: It doesn't show up in your inventory like that though. FO3 is weird, It'll say it's added but you won't see it or be able to equip it through the Pip-Boy menu as it's technically not playable. I originally experimented with just making both Pip-Boys a playable item that you could equip through the Pip-Boy menu but it broke the Pip-Boy and made it disappear entirely or sometimes it would be visible but non interactive like the watch in Tranquility Lane. Also the equip command only works with the Pip-Boy 3000 so unfortunately going to the RobCo Facility is your only option. It's easy to reach though and feels somewhat lore friendly in terms of implementation.

Did you download the required textures and meshes from the FNV nexus? Make sure you download the regular (non-replacer) version and then drag and drop ONLY the textures and meshes into the FO3 data folder. Other than that it should work unless you have some other mod that effects the Pip-Boy BC if so then it's probably a conflict. Make sure you install everything MANUALLY.

Seems like its incompatible with mods that remove the pipboy from your arm.

Swap back to the Pip-Boy 3000 before that moment if you're talking about scripted events, otherwise I don't use any mods that remove the Pip-Boy so I can't really say.

Yeah this mod is incomptable with this mod here. "https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/4180". once removed it works but changing the pipboy fov to 55 in the ini setting doesn't seem to do anything its still zoomed in.

Well IDK, I don't use that mod nor will I ever so unfortunately it'll probably stay that way unless you wanna create a patch yourself but if you do just make sure to credit the Molten Clouds Team.

Edit: Did FOV work fine with that mod before installing mine?

Ah, okay. Unfortunately, I don't plan on using the mod that makes the Pip-Boy invisible when it is unused as I like the look of the Pip-Boy in general whether it be this Pip-Boy or the 3000 so I doubt I'll fix that but if you or anybody else wants to create a patch then by all means go ahead. Otherwise, the FOV is optional and doesn't affect this Pip-Boy's functionality at all. If the FOV is still an issue, then perhaps it's another mod that's conflicting with this one but in all the mods I had installed during testing I saw no issues minus the screen bug that is easily fixed by saving and then loading said save. Sorry I can't be of much more help but the FOV worked perfectly fine for me.

Okay, I just want to be sure on this:

Your link to the "OFF SITE" mod that is needed (NOn-replacer version) is FALLOUT New Vegas?

    Is this correct?

Yes, you download the regular version (non-replacer) from the FNV Nexus but you only use the textures and meshes NOT the ESP. After that you download this mod and use the ESP from it to enable the Pipboy in FO3. You need to download everything MANUALLY.
