A new Main File has been uploaded, if you have a previous version of this mod you MUST remove it to ensure the new file works. This new main file gives the DLCs their own music and makes sure the two main faction's themes play at their respective base of operations like Raven Rock or the Citadel instead of being mashed together in one folder.
If you want to use this mod as the base to your own custom music overhaul, feel free. All you'd need to do is replace the mp3 files with your own music, just don't forget to credit me and any other authors if you use their music.
This is the best mod of this type for Fallout 3. I remember you mentioned somewhere that you were planning to compose music for Fallout New Vegas as well. What happened to that? I’d absolutely love to see a version for New Vegas—it would be amazing!
I've tried this mod several times but combat music always stops working shortly after leaving the vault. The main menu music also never stops playing unless I turn on the radio. A shame.
Endorsing this on both pages asap, I just want to thank you for bringing a newfound joy into my ttw. Slow walking at night with SH ambience is just too damn good, this works perfectly. Is it in your plans to helm a mojave music replacer project, and if so- Will it stay the same kind of ambiance?
Thanks! I was working on one for NV, but life got in the way. I plan to get back working on it when I have more free time. It would indeed be in the same vein as this, but a little more suited to the deserty, westerny environment.
Also from TTW, and I have this to say. 10/10. Changes the great but unfitting tracks from the OG game to a dark, moribund death rattle of the world before. This is only slightly hyperbole, but I think you'd make a masterful soundtrack for a Silent Hill spiritual successor. There's a few tracks that you made that I swear I've heard creeping around the halls of Brookhaven Hospital. I will always recommend this to anyone who plays TTW or FO3.
Thank you! Silent Hill was a definite inspiration, I even utilized a few sample libraries that Akira Yamaoka and David Licht used when they created music for the Silent Hill games.
Hey, I use the TTW version of the mod that Panzermann11 made, but I wanted to drop by here and say my thanks. The music is so dang good, it really gives me a similar vibe to the metallic, industrial horror feeling of Fallout 1 and 2's music. Excellent and fits the game atmosphere so well, I'd say this music rivals Bethesda's work.
One of my favorite mods, and one I won't play in the Capital Wasteland without, ever again.
I don't currently have Fallout 3 or its geck installed. The Replacer version of this mod has no bouts of silence, but there is no music in the dlcs. It's not the cleanest solution, but if you have both versions you can enable the replacer version for the capital wasteland so the music plays one after another with no breaks. When you want to go to the dlc locations you can exit the game, disable the replacer version and then enable the overhaul so that the dlc music plays.

Thanks for this mod, although I can't enjoy it as much as I would like. Let me explain:
In my opinion, there is too much silence between the songs, can it be shortened or even removed somehow?
