This mod is what I was looking for!!

Question, does the ejected shell casing show up as a .308 round or does it still use the vanilla shell casing?

Um hi, so everything in the mod works except for hunting rifles actually using 308 instead of .32 .  I've found 308 next to the rifles, and on npcs and whatnot, but the guns still don't use 308.  The only mods I have that touch the hunting rifle is a mod that changes gun sounds:

    and bugfixing mods:

I do have a weapon retexture mod, but as stated in the description it shouldn't break anything.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: turns out it was the gun sounds mod causing the issue.  I put this mod (BHRS) below the sound mod in my load order and both seem to work fine now.

Always disliked that the hunting rifle and ol painless use .32 ammo but your mod is everthing i wanted, but the minor thing i dont like is that the ol painless have 4 round instead of 5, if you could revert that i will be so happy :D
    Thanks for the mod :D.

Boom! Added a version where Ol' Painless clip size is 5 instead of 4. Check out the Misc Files.

    More realist about hunting rifle.
The problem is the gameplay/ vanilla level design.

    With the following edits:

    • NPC Inventories now include .308 ammo, replacing .32

    • Hunting Rifles found in the Wasteland now have .308 ammo with them instead of .32 ammo

It also changes a few In-World locations of Hunting Rifles by replacing some .32 ammo with .308 ammo, though there are some cases where only a few were replaced for balancing purposes. This is subject to change.

are sure neccesary for a realization, but lead to conflict with many mods. :(
Anno I did the same caliber change, but re-done for compatibility reasons. So remain the bad vanilla. :/
