About this mod
This mod changes the stats of the Hunting Rifle and Ol' Painless, including the type of ammo they use to .308, to similar stats seen in Fallout New Vegas. The standard Hunting Rifle is based on the same found in FNV, while Ol' Painless is based on Patiencia. This mod also changes Hunting Rifle ammo found out in the Wasteland.

Better Hunting Rifle Stats is a mod that changes the Stats of the Hunting Rifle in Fallout 3 to reflect that of Fallout New Vegas. The standard Hunting Rifle stats are based on those found in Fallout New Vegas, while Ol' Painless uses stats from Patiencia.
Mod Features Summary:
It also changes a few In-World locations of Hunting Rifles by replacing some .32 ammo with .308 ammo, though there are some cases where only a few were replaced for balancing purposes. This is subject to change.

Mod Features Summary:
- Hunting Rifles now use stats from FNV
- Ol' Painless now use stats based on Patiencia (GRA) from FNV
- All Hunting Rifles now use .308 ammo
- Ol' Painless now uses .308 ammo
- Ol' Painless Clip Size is now 4 (Inspired by Real-World R700)
- NPC Inventories now include .308 ammo, replacing .32
- Hunting Rifles found in the Wasteland now have .308 ammo with them instead of .32 ammo
- MISC FILES (BHRS - 0.1 - P5): Ol' Painless clip size is not changed, stays at 5.

Mod Compatibility:
- UNLIKELY to be compatible with any mods that modify the STATS of Hunting Rifles.
- LIKELY compatible with mods that change ONLY the model, but do NOT affect the STATS as well.
- LIKELY compatible with mods that change sound, but not stats as well.
- LOAD ORDER affects whether or not the stats of hunting rifles and Ol' Painless is actually changed. If this mod has what you consider a priority, then have this mod AFTER other mods in your load order that change (model, sound, etc.) hunting rifles and/or Ol' Painless.
