growing up studying medicine as the child of a doctor in a vault, and then being able to sell your expertise in the wasteland, is a cool roleplay concept! I'm also grateful for the 5x version! many thanks mememaster8427! kudos!
I just installed the Mod Mid playthhrough... Starting day was Sunday... Monday came and went now Tuesday.... no options for being a doctor in Megaton.. what Am I missing?
Maybe your Medicine skill level wasn't high enough. You have to have a minimum skill level of 30 for the prompt to show up. Either that or I need to make a more efficient way of having a once-a-week restriction for the prompt.
So I worked as a doctor in Megaton then went to Rivet city to try and put a shift in there and the dialog option won't show up?
Can I only do a single shift per week Total, or 1 doctors work shift per city per week...

So caps are hard to come by and I went all the way to rivet city with respawning super mutants to put in a second shift and no second shift presented it's self...
If you are still updating this mod I would request a "no fast travel" version of your 5X work as a doctor mod... where we can do 1 shift per week at each city... and if you could in this "NO fast travel version " actually make it so it disables fast travel? I like the other no fast travel mod but it does take up a plugin that could be used for something else... this new version I'm proposing gives you more doctor shifts but it's balanced because there is no easy way to get between clinics. Also a medicine skill of 50 required to work a shift would be nice. For balance
Otherwise fantastic mod I really like it... ENDORSED... I only want a version that fits my specific mod list... other than that no complaints
I think the concept is very good , but you have gone to extremes .Let's put a character with 50 medicine, he will earn 1000, 2000 and 500 (in a tour of all the settlements he gets 6000). With the balanced version he will get 50, 100 or 25 (total of 300) which seems to be far from the salary of a doctor XD (a nuka-cola is worth 20, in tempenny they pay you with 5 nuka-colas?, for that I better become a raider XD, that value is charged by the game for a healing). I think that with values ??like 5 and 10 it is actually more balanced, I would give 250, 500 and 125 (1500)// 500 1000 250 (3000). In the end I will only say that thanks for adding content to the game so many years after its release.
Could I bother you to make another version? 20x medicine is too much but 1x medicine is too little I think. A 5x version sounds perfect though. 500 caps at 100 medicine per week sounds great.
this mod worked and still works fine with the original version but whenever i switch to the balanced version i dont get the prompt anymore, does anyone know what went wrong? sorry if this is a stupid question i dont mod this game very much
edit: i figured it out, the weekly timer starts whenever the mod loads (hopefully only for the first time) even if you havent helped at the clinic. waiting for a week fixed it.
