Sooo any reason why you want to risk save bloat with all the butts and empty packets being discarded everywhere? I'd rather just turn off the litter and trash part entirely and I mean I don't want them in my inventory either adding unecessary weight. Seems an odd choice for keeping saves and the enviroment crash free and clean of bloat. 40-60 Ap is a little high also for one cigarette. Its more than drinking a quantum.
You smoke, you end up with trash .. whether you drop it or keep it, you get trash .. save bloat doesn't really factor into immersion
.. the AP was figured against VATS AP cost of firing the assault rifle .. something like one extra shot from a regular smoke, or two extra from a lucky
A possible update could allow for the 'trash' feature to be disabled entirely, but it may be a while before that happens, (getting back into the mood to mod has been elusive for the past while) .. however, if you have the time and a little bit of scripting knowledge, you could find and comment out the lines in the carton, pack and cigarette scripts that give you the trash
Do hope the mod is working well for you otherwise.
Pretty much that .. otherwise it's hard to list any specific things. Most of the 'features' are slightly modified mods all crammed together, and since getting into modding, any 'feature' I may 'miss' from FWE can either be found as it's original mod, built from a similar mod, or made from scratch, and I don't end up with a game full of features and stuff I'll never use or see, plus a whole slew fewer conflicts and bugs that need sorting out.
This mod .. it's a rebuild of another, to fix bugs, suit my preferences, and bring a 'feature' I used from FWE into my game.
Hi! Thanks for the mod, but I have some questions: 1. What are the main differences between your mod and Light Up and Smoke Those Cigarettes? (I've already noticed that there is no 'CHEM' prefix and that the Doctors would really cure the nicotine addiction) 2. Is your mod compatible with Better Living Through Chems? If not, could you make a patch for it, please? So that the cigs/packs/cartons from BLTC were gone leaving those from your mod. Or maybe it would be enough just to put your mod after BLTC in the load order and everything would be OK? 3. I like the Pip-Boy retexture from the screenshots you've made, what mod did you use for it? It's also amazing how the Pip-Boy text color perfectly matches the color of the Stats/Items/Data buttons, how did you manage to do that? Using Fallout 3 Interface Color Changer? 4. Also what mod did you use to change the sneaking indicator to '<=o==o=>'? It's not FWE, right?
The differences are in the description and the change log.
BLTC has it's own smokes .. however, it shouldn't be too hard to make it place nice: will have a look. (edit: .. had a look .. there are some specific changes that would need to be made)
Penny Pip-boy .. yes, also some extra pip-boy text color change using FICC
Not FWE .. a personal custom mod esp .. edited the text values used for Sneak status using FO3Edit .. specifically ..
.. BLTC version .. bltc Cartons, Packs, Cigarettes, and their effects are replaced with the ones from here, all other unnecessary conflicts have simply been removed .. be sure this one loads AFTER BLTC
Wow, you are so quick! Thank you very much for making and uploading the BLTC compatible versions, take also my kudos! Downloading for my next playthrough...

Game Setting
sSneakCaution -> <==<>==>
sSneakDanger -> <=x==x=>
sSneakDetected -> <=o==o=>
sSneakHidden -> ========
.. those values can also be edited in GECK and saved to an esp that way
