Ich habe die Fallout 3 GOTY Version auf DVDs.
Nach unzähligen Versuchen Fallout 3 auf einem Windows 10 System zu Laufen zu bringen habe ich diese, für mich funktionierende, und supereinfache Lösung aus dem weltweiten Internetz gefischt.
F: Wie sieht die Lösung aus???
A: GFWL installieren!!!
F: Hä? Geht doch nicht, weil der Installer abkackt???
A: Doch, man muss nur vorher den client installieren. Dann läuft auch der Installer erfolgreich durch!!!
Da viele Fallout 3 Fans anscheinend nach wie vor die gleichen Probleme haben, wollte ich euch diese Lösung nicht vorenthalten.
Vielleicht hilft es ja jemandem.
Just am heutigen Tage (13.08.2020) konnte ich mein geliebtes, altes Fallout 3 endlich auf zwei WIN 10 Rechnern zum Laufen bringen.
Ich lade die benötigten Dateien hier hoch:

UPDATE:
I tryed it again today with the two files, but it didn´t work. There are 3 more files
missing.
Please put all 6 files in one folder and install the gfwlclient first and then gfwlive. You don´t have to install the other .exe files but it seems they have to be in the same folder. This is how it worked for me at my third try on my third PC running Winsows 10.

Install the gfwlclient first and then gfwlive. After that install the game.
I have installed it today (20.08.2022) and it works. I played until the birthdayparty.
