I actually agree with you on this, better to remove those low quality wires all together than keep them. This would be very easy to make so I could do it at some point. unless you meant some of the other stuff.

It's amazing what you do, small details that mod to mod increase immersion a lot.

Thanks for your effort, I look forward to seeing some of your mods when I play Fallout New Vegas haha!

I like what youre doing with your Animated Mods

The only issue atleast for me personally is I can never "see" the animations unless really close.

yeah they are very subtle, any more movement would make them seem silly. I think my mods are best used by Stealth players. sneaking around with sniper and binoculars in the early hours of the morning. its how I usually see the swaying.

Yes, subtle is definitely the way to go, and not just for stealth & realism. I shot at Ashen's Raider Dressing mod once when I was in a panic. The destroyed house will be the same - either closing in on one or looking through it while being twitchy for enemies, any slight movement will at least make you wary & look twice.
      A great series of mods.

Hey Ashens, I really appreciate the shout-out, but It really wasn't necessary. I was more than happy to test this stuff, both because I was curious if it would work myself, and because I wanted to use your awesome animations while playing FO3.

On a side note, these houses are in vanilla FO3. The Animated Tents were from Anchorage, not this mod.  :P

I like doing it, I appreciate people that give me a hand with stuff, and you gave me lots of information and an image that saved me time. Chicago helped me in the same way. thanks for pointing that out I just changed it to Wasteland . if you test anything else that works in fallout 3 be sure to tell me, if you like testing them.

All right, I took a look around some more of the New Vegas mods, and I did find a couple things, but not much.

From your mod: Vault 22 Animated Foliage, both the "daffodil01.nif" and "pansy01.nif" plants work well in FO3, but as far as I know, they can only be found in Tranquility Lane. The only plant among that group I showed that isn't animated is the tall, thin one called "hollyhock01.nif". I thought I had mentioned this earlier, but I can't remember when or where.

From your mod: Animated Wild Wasteland, the "rocketfort01.nif" bundled without the ESP will work in Fallout 3 (although without the Wild Wasteland trait, it's a bit silly. I'm still using it though :P ). I also tested the one that came with the ESP, but that one doesn't seem to work at all, so I don't know what you changed between those meshes, but they definitely work as advertised, and I'm guessing the same applies to the other meshes that come bundled with the ESP.

From your mod: Animated Industrial Pack, the "cranestatic01.nif" does in fact work in FO3, but it's obnoxiously rare. Neither the destroyed crane in Scrapyard nor the one used to open the gate at the Citadel use the same mesh, so they weren't animated.
It took me a bit to find one (thank you Fallout Wiki), but there is one just outside of the Outcast Outpost as part of the Operation: Anchorage DLC.

That's everything I've found at the moment. I don't know if you plan on releasing any of these for FO3 since releasing 3 different mods with only 1 or 2 meshes each seems a bit excessive. Maybe some kind of Miscellaneous Assets Pack for Fallout 3 or something?

Anyway, if you release any more mods for New Vegas, I'll be more than happy to give them a look through to see if they'll work in FO3 as well.

Hey thanks linygami, like the new profile picture lol. I will probably not make any mods with them, rocket fort anim is wild XD and the plants usally have bad animations. only good one to do would be the crane, but with only one appearance that seems pointless. Thanks for the research! sorry for the late reply was busy this morning!!!
