The Ultimate Companion Overhaul mod has been hidden due to permission problems. Is there an alternate? The Bornagain Brotherhood of Steel T-45d power armor has the same Nexus link as the Bornagain Outcast T-45d power armor. The following mods have been deleted from Nexus: Footlocker Redo, Toolbox Redo, Locker Cabinet, Toaster, Grocery Shelves. Vintage Radio Fixed, Generic Safe Redo, Arlington Tombstone Redone, TV Set Retextured, Eyebot Retextured, Enclave Power Armor Retextured.
Update 12/12/21: Added Kyu's Ballistics and FNV EVE Grenade and Mine Explosions (FNV Port) to the list as well as DC Moods. Fo3LODGen was removed due to Worldspace texture mods conflicting (Having their own LOD resulting in objects in the distance not loading full level of detail). If you have used Fo3LODGen already, to undue, simply delete files: Meshes\Landscape\LOD\<Worldspace>\Trees\*.DTL Meshes\Landscape\LOD\<Worldspace>\Trees\TreeTypes.LST Textures\Landscape\Trees\TreeDeadLod.DDS and TreeSwampLOD.DDS
so i downloaded FOSE from step 1 of part 2 and pasted all the contents into the folder of the game and when i try to launch the game using fose_loader.exe, it says that im using an unknown version
Hello! Is there anyway to undo step 2 in your guide? I think running it on a steam install wrecked something. In trying to get it to run I learned that the Live Installer glitch was patched in October 2021 and was no longer an issue. I'm out of ideas on getting it to run on my computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Finally found the solution after researching and trying all the suggested things to try when Fallout 3 will not run on a windows 10 computer.
The launcher was only choosing the integrated graphics card instead of my discrete Nvidia card (running a predator laptop). It did not even show the graphics card as a choice.
Went into display settings, then graphics settings, then where it says "Choose an app to set preference" I hit browse and navigated to the Fallout3.exe file in the Fallout 3 goty directory in steam and selected it. Then the next menu I hit options and directed it to use the graphics card. I did the same with launcher as well. I guess the default (that didn't work) was "let windows decide".
Hope this saves anyone with the same issue some hours!
Hello! Great list btw, although fo3lodgen is just not working for me for some reason. It has the "textures not on atlas, some LOD will be missing in game!" error and a lot of the LOD is missing only showing up once the actual area is loading in.. Maybe it's weirdness with Mo2? I only have texture mods recommended here. Any idea? I've never had any luck with fo3lodgen for some reason, always does this sort of thing despite the other versions of this plugin working perfectly in Oblivion and FNV.
I have not tried fellout with this build but it shouldn’t conflict with anything because there are no weather mods in the build. Worst case If it doesn’t work, you can always just uninstall fellout. I decided not to include fellout because I have read that for many people it tanks performance. Let us know how it works if you try it out though, good luck!
Yes in the beginning of the mods category iirc it was stated that it causes crashes with this build, I’m not an Fo3edit expert but I’m sure the reason would be presented there, I have read multiple accounts as well from others stating they had issues as well. I believe it is because the UOP changes so much at this point that it is inevitable to conflict with any decent sized mod build
The old version where indeed buggy, but I can assure you the new version is perfectly safe (I was a tester for the new versions), and if there conflict overwrite UUF3P.
Also, this fixes sound bugs even in fallout 3 https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61265
Does the updated UF3P cover DLCs like the old UF3P? Or do I still need some of the UF3P with the Updated version? Actually, I forget I don't even bother with this patch because of a bug.
Awesome guide! my game looks and feels incredible now!! Followed the instructions carefully to the T and everything turned out as it should, thank you again!
Awesome mod guide, followed the pdf and FO3 looks and runs amazingly. Rh_Ironsights has alot of clipping issues that can be fixed if you play with the nif files with nifskope. Also, kill reactions is very buggy and causes companions to cower constantly. Additionally, Stewie's ai tweaks is a nice esp-less plugin you can add if wanted.
Interesting to know about the kill reaction mod. I’ve never been 100% sure how much it really changed anything but I have noticed companions cower a lot.
