    3.1.1
Fixed Automatic .308 Rifle's magazine having wrong texture mapped in first person.

    3.1
-Fixed High Capacity Soviet SMG using first-person player weapon sounds for NPC's.

    SF3WRP Patch:
    -Missed the Laser Sniper.

    3.0
Big redo. So much has changed that a new save is recommended. Sorry for any possible inconvenience.
I will leave the old version available.

-Renamed the mod in preparation for my second weapon pack, which will contain all of my "made-from-scratch" 3D models.
-Converted the mod to .ESM and packed the assets inside a BSA.
-Remade the script version's form- and leveled list script using Command Extender's functions.
    -Remade and/or optimized all meshes.
-Removed unnecessary normal maps and switched the file paths to use vanilla normals instead.
-Renamed Suppressed 10mm Submachine Gun to Silenced 10mm Submachine Gun for vanilla parity.
-Renamed Suppressed Scoped Hunting Rifle to Silenced Scoped Hunting Rifle for vanilla parity.
-Renamed .44 Submachine Gun to .32 Submachine Gun and changed the ammo type accordingly.
-Renamed Chinese Submachine Gun to Chinese Carbine.
-Renamed 5mm Submachine Gun to 5mm Carbine.
-Removed the unique Soviet SMG, renamed it to High Capacity Soviet Submachine Gun and added it to leveled lists.
-Increased the ammo capacity of .32 Submachine Gun, Soviet Submachine Gun and High Capacity Soviet Submachine Gun.
-Removed weapons from a few unused leveled lists.
-Decompressed the single NPC record in the mod.

The texture on the 308 rifle clip is incorrectly applied (in fact, in your own screenshot, where the character is holding a weapon from the 3rd person, this is clearly visible)

One thing that I noticed now, you put "NS .44 Submachine Gun" instead of "NS .32 Submachine Gun" in the description.

Big thanks! Those weapons are a good way to expand the vanilla arsenal, while staying true to the game's art style and vanilla balance.

For context: I wanted to play FO3 again, but "as I remember it being in 2008". lStewieAl's Tweaks, UF3P, Enhanced Camera, IronSight Plus and that's basically it. No texture mods either. I was on the fence about adding any weapons whatsoever, but after trying those out I'm keeping them. Perfect for a Vanilla+ mod setup.
Same for the NS Weapons Pack by the way, I just don't want to post the same comment twice.

Endorsed, have a nice day :)

      Not caused by this mod.

Lever-action rifle works fine for me while using iron sights plus. It sounds like it might be an animation issue. If you have animation replacer mods, make sure iron sights plus' animations overwrites them.

Other possible cause might be a mesh replacer mod that does not have a sighting node added to the mesh.

I'm going through a playthrough with this mod and it's amazing. I'm currently running 56 plugins, my game is textured to the high heavens, and I'm 30 hours into the playthrough without one CTD! (Using MO2, and it's mostly texture/mesh mods...nothing crazy.)

Just a few minor hiccups occurring right now that I'm trying to get to get to the bottom of. My first problem is the Chinese Pistol, and Chinese Carbine sound is extremely loud when a NPC is shooting me with either weapon (It sounds like I'm shooting it lol. I haven't heard the Auto. Chinese Pistol yet but it would be safe to assume it would be the same given that it uses the same sound file; viewed via. xEdit). "WPNPistolChineseFire2D" and "WPNPistolChineseFire3D" is referenced 14 times by the following mods; Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch, Iron Sights Plus, Simplified Fallout 3 Weapon Re-texture Project, and your weapon pack. My second issue is with the High Capacity Soviet SMG, it is super loud in first person. I know it uses the .32 Pistol sound file which is referenced 7 times by The Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch, and your weapon pack. I do realize that you are using the vanilla sound files for these guns, is it some game bug?? My third issue is with the Laser Sniper which has a messy scope texture. Nothing appears to be overwriting my files so I'm not entirely sure what the issue is. I'm absolutely not blaming your mod, more just bringing it to your attention in the case something was missed while your where updating. If the files are all ok any feedback helping me solve this would be greatly appreciated. My knowledge with xEdit is limited, but I know my way around things.

    Thanks! Love all your work.

      Thanks.

High Capacity Soviet SMG has wrong sound file assigned to the 2D slot. It's causing NPCs to use first-person player weapon sounds. I must have accidentally clicked the wrong one and didn't notice.

The Chinese weapon sounds are set up correctly (and they all use the vanilla sounds), so I don't know what is going on there. You could look if some mod is editing forms 423b7 "WPNPistolChineseFire3D" and 423b8 "WPNPistolChineseFire2D". And if you use any vanilla sound replacer mods, check if the sound is fine without it. That's all I can think of.

Laser Sniper's scope texture mess is caused by Simplified Fallout 3 Weapon Re-texture Project. It replaces the sniper rifle's mesh with seemingly identical to vanilla mesh, only the UV layout is changed. Laser sniper uses vanilla sniper's scope and it's mesh data uses the unchanged vanilla UV layout, and since SF3WRP chances it, the scope looks wrong. Sorry for the bad explanation, can't do better in English.
I need to update the Simplified Fallout 3 Weapon Re-texture Project patch. I took a break while making it. When I came back to finish it, I just assumed that I had checked all the weapons.

Okay awesome, I'm glad I ran that by you and you able to pin point the issue! That was a good explanation! It sounds like you just need to make the scopes mesh data for your mod match the mesh data for the SF3WRP mod if I'm understanding correctly.

Nothing Appears to be overwriting 423b7 or 423b8. Would a mod "editing" forms be different than a mod "overwriting" files? Ill do some more troubleshooting but I may just end up editing the .wav file to turn the sound down lol.

      Thanks for the help!

EDIT: I figured out the issue. The Chinese Pistol Addon for SF3WRP adds a sound file for 423b7 and 423b8. I replaced the sound file with a vanilla sound file, and now have no issues.

      Glad you got it sorted.

To answer your question: Edits in plugins and overwriting files are different. You can have a mod that replaces vanilla sound files by overwriting sound files directly in the data/sounds/... folders. But you can also edit the sound records with a plugin (changing volume, setting file paths etc...). Lets say that we have two mods installed that change the 10mm pistol's firing sounds using both of these methods. In this case, the sound from the plugin mod would win over the loose file overwrite, because it sets a new file path for the firing sound. If we then add a mod that edits just the volume with a plugin and load it after the previous mod, the file path returns to vanilla state and the sound from the loose file overwrite mod will play.

It is. I completely forgot to update it. Should be done later today. *Edit* Never mind. It will take longer. I have to remake two meshes and I don't have the energy to do it right now.

For some reason my NS 5mm Submachine Gun first person textures are broken. I have SWRP installed.

Why laser sniper doesn't work with bullettime, all other does except this one.
