please someone or OP his/herself , please make this mod for Fallout new Vegas as well as FAllout 4 as well. this is nostalgia feature that should be on every fallout games.
Was looking for a mod like this. Never liked the minigames in bethesda's games (or any game). Could you make a version of this mod that allows you to succeed automatically assuming you have the minimum skill? I don't see the point in having a random element. I wonder would this be possible for speech checks, or would it have compatibility concerns.
I downloaded the mod (as well as allready having FOSE), and when I attempt to hack something thats within my skill range (4, such as an easy lock, it does nothing. I click on the hack option(top option) and nothing at all happens, so that being said it may just be that the hack was unsuccesful, but that is unlikely because: A)easy locks shouldn't be a problem everytime. B)When I close out of that screen, I am able to try again, which means the terminal wasn't shut down. With all of these things in mind, what do you think I am doing incorrectly/what the problem is?
Great that someone's finally working on this. I've got a couple ideas for you.
-Instead of menus, make a lockpick "weapon" that you can equip and use on doors and containers to roll the die. It'll keep you in the game more than jumping out to a menu. When you collect enough bobby pins, you can spend them on a better equippable. Check out Zumb's Lockpicking Mod for Oblivion, it does this and it works incredibly well!
-Instead of "two failures break a pick", add a case for Critical Failure based on luck and skill that can jam the door closed until a key or explosive is used. (In vanilla fo3, the door will jam if you fail the "Force lock" check)

I think its really silly at almost 50 lock pick skill or Science skill to have Very Easy locked items end up failing way more then they succeed.
It ends up being more annoying then convenient the way it is now.
While i wasn't sure about it at fist, it's a spledid addition to the game and roleplaying aspects.
I wouldn't want to miss it anymore - thank you.
Kudos for this and all your other things i'm eager to try.
The stocked bar in particular is fantastic
Great little mod!
