For Locomotion folder removal to fix big guns animation, Specifically - 1hForward - and all 4 "1hFast" versions that are in the locomotion folder are what break the Big Guns animation. For my character (2handed aimed down) 1handed animations - while in motion (what was removed) he no longer fully holds the gun properly [but still pretty damn close] Then goes back to the hold after the movement. still looks decent an not jank so its worth it if you don't want the Big Guns animation to break.
If anybody has problems with animations of heavy weapons and rifles, after the instalation you need to delete the location folder in data/meshes/characters/_male/
Thank you!!! i had that issue and i deleted the locomotion file in male and it worked!!! thanksss <3 i think it works because in the mod there's already a locomotion file that "fights" with the vanilla oneand it bug the minigun or heavy weapons
Deleting locomotion folder fixes the rifle and minigun issue but screw the pistol animation, the option 4 to be specific, and that's literally the only reason i used the mod in the first place. Is there any way to fix it?
Deleting Locomotion folder fixes 2h rifle animation, but BREAKS 1h animations. Pretty much have to choose which animation you want more, new 1h and broken 2h or broken 1h and working 2h
If you have a rifle drawn and switch to a pistol, the pistol's magazine will be misaligned in 3rd person (though this will happen even if you switched while in 1st person), displaced forwards, until you switch to another weapon. Changing weapons while they're holstered avoids the bug, but holstering and re-drawing a bugged pistol does not. It also fixes itself upon reloading the pistol.
I'm using the 1st person CORE and the 3rd person Option 1 settings.
EDIT: Well never freakin mind, I reinstalled the mod (same settings, same place in priority list in MO2, same untouched rest of mods), and the bug is gone. No idea what could've caused it, nor solved it.
Got this mainly for the pistol animation. FO3's 1hpistol running animation was always Ewww to me lol. NV's vanilla animation was better, but still left alittle to be desired. This is great. I even love the idle stance when im not moving. Thank You
So, what fixed the rifles having the pistol running animation was removing the locomotion folder from data/meshes/characters/_male in Fallout Three's files. I cannot guarantee this will work for you, but I hope it will. If it does, you're very much welcome. Also, don't delete the locomotion folder, move it to a USB/external drive just in case.
!!!THANK YOU!!!! I was getting an annoying running animation "bug" while i had a rifle out. my barrel was floating and my hand was holding nothing as if the animation was misaligned. right clicking and deleting the file "locomotion" from the data folder has 100% fixed the issue and if anyone else is having any problems i would recommend doing the same before uninstall because i was nearly there
It appears that the folder 'locomotion' that comes from the mod when selecting pistol animation type any other than CORE is the one responsible for unsightly clipping and overriding other animations.
