I am playing this on steam deck. Is there a way to make the loot menu show the controller buttons instead of the bindings associated with PC? I started the game on PC and and transferred everything to Steam deck, the Pipboy bindings are xbox ones, but the loot menu is not, although if I hit A (even though E is shown) I will loot something from a body.
Actually it seems like EASKATER found the solution in their post a few below.
I have a quick question: What is the purpose of the file located at `textures\interface\lootmenuhighlight\solid_black.dds2`? It appears to be a leftover to me.
Additionally, I've noticed an overflow issue: Items with long names exceed the boundaries of the loot menu. The menu only adjusts its width after you have scrolled through it; otherwise, the overflow remains (for example, if there’s only one item). Is there a way to set the width of the container initially, rather than just after a scroll event?
Thank you so much for creating this mod — it greatly enhances the gaming experience!
Is there a way that you can remove the loot menu option from locked containers? Or, quit making it open the container when you successfully lock-pick said containers, so you can use Loot Menu?
If anyone wants to know how to change the text on the quick loot menu for the very few of us who only play this game with a gamepad controller, what you have to do is turn off the controller, go into "Controls -> Action Mapping" and change "Activate" to the "A" key and "Ready/Reload" with the "X" key. When you switch back to your controller you'll see the correct letters showing on the quick loot menu and since we're using a gamepad it doesn't mess with our controls. Anyway just thought I'd let the few of us gamepad users know.
And if anyone is using my PS4 controller icons mod you can switch "Activate" to the "X" key and "Ready/Reload" to the "O" key.
Hi all, might be a dumb question, but I'm new to modding. Do I need to download the mod as well as the source files? If I don't need to download the source files what are they there for? Thank you all for the help!
For those who are like me, and can´t seem to make the thing work. 1- Disable the Loot Menu from your mod manager. 2- Load your save file, then make a new one from the pause menu (do NOT make a quick save). 3- Close your game and enable the mod again. 4- Load the previously made save file.

Do increase the version number though, so other people's MO2's prompts them to update.

It worked for me tho.
