    Sorry for bothering, but I'm very new to modding and so pretty confused. I've been trying to use this mod with FalloutFood but I've been experiencing issues where, upon opening the cookbook and closing my Pip boy, the UI disappears and I cannot move.
    I have FOSE, Command Extender ver.23, and all the compatibility patches installed. Is it a problem with my load order (LOOT doesn't see anything wrong)?

    Similar to what Nibenon76 said below, I CTD upon closing the cookbook via Megaton shack. It oddly renames the book to "Cookbook"; when I open the newly renamed book clicking exit crashes my game. Load order isn't the issue, and the Fallout Food mod works fine.

    I experience CTD every time when I cook nothing and press the 'Exit' button in the Recipe Menu. It's weird, because Recipe Menu works flawlessly in my game with other recipe menu mods  (NV Ammo Recycling and NS Weapon Repair Kits): I can exit the Recipe Menu anytime without CTD in workbench and reloading station. Btw, it writes 'You don't have enough magicka' in all recipe menus: of Cookbook, workbench and reloading station alike. I guess it's something from Oblivion, isn't it?
    I have all needed prerequisites installed and updated. I've tried to move the esp down in the load order to prioritize the mod over other possibly conflicting mods - CTD again. So it seems like it's not an incompatibility issue. I've also tried to reinstall the mod, as well as the Recipe Menu mod itself, but to no avail - CTD again. Btw, I had to reinstall Fallout Food mod too, because all my Cookbooks vanished in the clean save.
    So I guess it's a bug. Has anybody here experienced such an issue too?

    Hi, I installed the mod but it still uses default menu. Recipe Menu works on a workbench but not for Fallout Food. Should I overwrite the original mod with this?
    EDIT: allright, nevermind, just changed the load order of the esps

    Wanted to also report that metal cooking pans and pressure cookers are not being returned.  I've had no issue with hotplates or toasters.

    Hi Genin,

    i have the same problem like Anzella, if i like to make Cakes (Radroach, Mirelurk, Dog, ....) i need for every Cake a Hot Plate = 5 Radroach Cakes needs 5 Hot Plates and i don't get them back after cooking :(  

    UPDATE: I get the Hot Plate(s) back after cooking/crafting.

    thank you for this! i noticed upon making 'whiskey radroach' that it uses up the metal cooking pot but doesn't return it. not a huge bug, but now i gotta keep a good supply of them haha. <3

    I'm using pipboy remover mod and the main cookbook recipe doesn't show up.

      Could you elaborate? You have to use 'Cookbook' item in your inventory to open Recipe menu.
