Without FOSE the game will crash upon attempting to trade. Be sure to check the requirements of your version.
@SolidSnakeMan: "So do the new companions talk and make comments while traveling ...", The companions will: Mouth off to bad guys, complain about the player's clumsiness and, if waiting, perform idle chatter.
@User_59559336 re: Wandering companions Some NPC's have scripts that rely on another NPC. Such as the kids in megaton who rely on each other for a playing script at a certain time of day. When that script is called, the two NPCs are compelled to join each other with a pretty high priority. Likely this overrides your friendship.

"This mod causes all fully automatic weapons to only fire one round at a time" Solution thanks to: parasarbhadra11990 "After you load the mod for the first time, a message appears that reads something like <select the "give order" key after clicking "ok">. After this if you press the left mouse button key (default fire key) first then LMB is set as both give order and fire key, so pressing LMB will not auto fire. Likely this is the problem. If "give order" is assigned to any other key then auto fire should work."
Dear author, is there a way to disable the highlight feature when looking at a companion? i find it rather annoying every time i look at them they start glowing yellow.
I've been using this mod with zero issues throughout main storyline, all the DLC's and several more quest mods. Have made great use of the three main added convo lines, recruit, trade and "set essential". Have really liked being able to set the water and merch caravanners and other important NPC's to essential, giving them better armors and weapons to better survive, WITHOUT having to recruit and dismiss them. Last night, out of the blue, the set essential line DISAPPEARED, turned into "check health" removing the "set essential" option. Out of pure luck I ran across Crow lying dead out in BFE, after resurrecting him, giving him a spare laser gatling and really good armor, that's when I realized I could NOT set him to essential. Nothing was changed in the LO. Any clues or ideas what might've happened or how to reset back would be immeasurably appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Serious question.
Will this allow me to put a dress on Jericho when he's a companion?
