This causes my game to immediately reload the latest save the exact moment my character dies, without showing the death animation or music at all even if i don't press the alt key.
And that behaviour itself seems to cause some other problems, such as keeping crippled limb effects on your character over the save reload and keeping debris or fire from destroyed entities such as cars on the scenery as well. Though i'm not completely sure about these, they just seem to be related.

The check if alt is pressed must be broken, try the version in my Tweaks plugin.
