DIY Info: Sorry, I have left the Oblivion and Fallout 3. Still on Skyrim and Fallout 4 though. I am unable to make compat patches as I have the games uninstalled. If you are having compatibility issues, I recommend you create your own similar patch. For this I used xEdit filters and expanded and highlighted all cells or lighting templates, then I use the Automation Tools for TES5Edit? (Yes, it was built for Skyrim, but most of its scripts works perfectly on most xedit versions for any game, tested on Oblivion, FO3, FO4, SkyLE, SkySE). To do this, the cells/lighting templates I have filtered, expanded, and highlighted, I right click and copy them as Override on an new ESP, then select all records on the newly created ESP, right click and apply script: AT - QuickChange v2.4.pas, use the formula function. Set the path to the path you want to edit (This can be any path you want, perfect for bulk editing and mod making) in this case Fog Clip Distance or Fog Clip Dist (IIRC been awhile) then set the value to 9999999 or any large number. To get more info on which records to edit, open this mod on xEdit. IIRC it should only be interior cells and lighting templates. Good luck! Happy modding... with this method you can also now create weightless patches, price fixes, name sorts, and much much more.
Do u have any plans for making this for FNV? I use TTW, and this mod (unfortunately,) crashes my game, which is in no way this mods fault, just TTW only handles CERTAIN FO3 mods correctly.
its odd to be honest, since the ENBs both game are the exact same code, and mods like darkened interiors FOR fallout 3 work flawlessly for TTW, (doesn't affect Mojave interiors as far as i can tell)
When opening FNVEdit you can see plenty of bugs that conflict with TTW. Mostly just missing records that don't exist in TTW breaking the ingame soundtrack as one example
Hello sir can you please make a New Vegas version of this excellent mod with AWOP compatibility? AWOP Gypsum railyard is driving me crazy, I'd appreciate a fix.
Thank you for this, and especially for your instructions explaining how, for the benefit of those of us who aren't particularly skilled with xEdit, the steps needed to apply the same effect to cells not included in your patch, such as those added by other mods. Works perfectly, and is a significant improvement.
Hello there. I am having a bit of a problem with your mod...I download it and enable the esp but as soon as I launch FOSE it loads a black screen with a spinning mouse cursor and then crashes...I'm not sure what ini tweaks you did but even after disabling your mod the only way for me to get into the game normally is to disable your mod and completely delete my Fallout.ini file and let it make a new one on launch. I am running Midhrastic ENB with a mod that was on the same page that is supposed to help with enb transparency or something like that...I have tried disabling both that one and Fellout with no luck..Your mod still kills my game before I even see Please Stand By... I would appreciate any help or suggestions that you have. Thanks.
Have become so used to those voids I almost stopped noticing them. Until you mentioned it, now I can't stop thinking how ugly and immersion-breaking they are. It was immediately apparent when I dopped into the Penn Ave utility tunnel earlier today. No longer though, now you've neatly fixed them. Very good work.
It does appear to make interiors somewhat darker, but I like the gloom.
