Tips: 1. You can always use Fission Batteries to repairing Energy Weapons, Leather Belts for Leather Armors (Armored Vault Suit included) and Boxes of Detergent for Clothing. 2. For miniguns (and not only) you can always use "Moira's Bounty_Weapon Repair Kits_NVStyle" mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/22674) 3. For more powerful light armors you can always use "Armored Vault Suit Metal Master Armor Tunnel Snake Jacket Tweaked" mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/22813) Happy shooting.
Sorry for commenting so many years after release lol. I installed it with FOMM on the GOTY edition (It's last in load order, and I have FOSE installed through FOMM as well), and I can see the perk when I hit lvl 14 and grabbed it... But it just doesn't work? Like I can't repair anything any differently than normal? (I have ONLY those two mods installed, nothing else) (I don't know what "Don't clean the mod" means, does FOMM do that automatically and I need to turn it off?)
For reference, I am on Xbox Gamepass version on PC. Screenshot of my FOMM (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/798223258129530961/1283332044830543872/image.png?ex=66e29b9a&is=66e14a1a&hm=b0ea3feec71faf490f5c0fcd20bd7f222150b32bf0170680f6e4e4bdbde86aa5&)
nah i meant like with the console command, the code wouldnt work. i ended up just giving myself another perk instead then choosing jury rigging again once i leveled up.
quick question i understand fallout 3 doesnt tier the armors like NV (light, medium, heavy) so am i only allowed to repair power armor with other power armors or am i missing something?
great mod btw makes the degradation on this game less of a headache.
1. console commands *always* work *if* you correctly introduce them. player.addperk xx000801 -> xx is your mod loading order which can be read using XEdit. You probably used it as such (player.addperk xx000801). 2. "i (am) only allowed to repair power armor with other power armors" Yes. If you want to clarify further, you can always use XEdit. The mod is scripted *not* hard-coded.
Dunno if you're still watching this thread or if this is dead. I have same problem. Got to lvl 14, took the perk and it's not working. Yes, it's last in the list. I didn't clean anything. I use Vortex, it put the esp in there fine. Of course I'm running FOSE. (What does "the beast" mean? I don't get that.) What did I miss?
You reported this mod as "not working" on Jan. 26th, 2024 yet you endorsed it on Jan. 31st, 2024. *Sigh* Sometimes, you have to decide whether you should use which or that.
PS: It is working, otherwise I would have *not* posted it. Long delays on replies due to my little preoccupation on other projects.
Well, when I was detecting mod conflicts, I just clean the mod for a moment. Now, I lost jury rigging forever, it doesn't work anymore. After then I see the warning in description. Is there any chance for me to compensate?
After trying to reinstall the mod and use a new save, I still can't use jury rigging. CTD when I try to cross repair the weapon in pipboy, then I load the save there is no ctd again but the perk doesn't work anymore. It really make me frustrated. I think mo2 dosen't touch any data of the game, so why it just happened again after I reinstalled the mod and restarted.
----------------------------------------- NOTE: Do not clean the mod. The FormID lists were placed there on purpose. Without them, the mod will not work as intended or worse, it will stop working. You have been warned. -----------------------------------------
CR posted these instructions in the description, which is a nice change from the usual ambiguity on Nexus.
What is the ID of the perk itself? I ran into a bug where I cant go past level 20, and I would very much love to have this perk, I can find the base id using loot
"What is the ID of the perk itself?" ---> xx000801, where xx is your mod's loading order. "I ran into a bug where I cant go past level 20" ---> Err... Do you have Broken Steel installed? "I can find the base id using loot" ---> ???
Does this work across DLC as well? IE, Can I repair a rifle from a DLC with a rifle from the main game?
If so, then this does away with all those other mods like "Cross Repair DLC" and "Cross Repair Weapons" and "Cross Repair Armor" Which means I can replace those THREE mods with this ONE.
I see you have another perks like purifier, tribal wisdom, etc. Can you tell me which mod contains them? Or at least pip-boy icons, I really need them, because I am rebalancing F3, looking at NV content...
Some of them you'll find here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/22692?tab=files or search Nexus after "Authors" CivisRomanus and you'll see all my posted mods.

Place it last in your mods' list.
Get rid of NMM and use fomm or another mod manager.

Definitely endorsed.
Also, would you consider making a mod to add the cyborg perk to FNV?
"I ran into a bug where I cant go past level 20" ---> Err... Do you have Broken Steel installed?

2. Yes, you can. It applies to weapons AND armors too.
3. Yes, you can replace 3 mods with this one.
Endorsed!
