ik im a bit late but , pls use vortex. it is plug and play, only time i ever had issues was with conflicting mods or forgot to get the files that help the mods work together, mo2 is a complete pain if u mess up the mod install
For any newbie or rookie, try not use WMK aka Weapon Mod Kit while using this mod, it makes the super-mutants and some set of NPCs not be capable of using their weapons, so far it's the best expansion of the arsenal as we know from the classic.
Wish that this glorious mod could get a remaster, everything here is 15 years old and (no offense) some parts of this mod are poorly made. It's a shame that no one has tried to modernize it and that stance is the same for most of the mods on this website for Fallout 3. If only we could reinvigorate the mod community for Fallout 3.
yeah, it is weird fallout 3 modding is forever dead, its understandable but its weird how the site on this section is massively dead lol. cool still seeing people from back in 08 though
Nvm, figured out it was weapon mod kit messing with the list of weapons they were allowed to use. Think FWE already had it and maybe it was conflicting or sum like that.
I downloaded the mod after making the National Guard Depot my stash spot and player home early on in the game and went back later to find all the weapons from the mod scattered around the floor and if that wasn't irritating enough (they easily could've had their own container or used an existing one), if I enter the first portion of the vault -which is were I'm talking about- then I am unable to leave without the game freezing. It wont even crash. The mod is great but finding all the weapons in 30 seconds was disappointing after spending hours in the wasteland trying to come across them all. I get why they're there but the placement was sloppy and effectively made the National Guard Depot armory cursed. I'll tinker around with it and see if putting things in boxes will fix the issue but coming across this during a livestream was a bad look.
Now as for the weapon reload animations: nice work. there are some wtf moments but in first person the sort of off screen reloading is something I can really appreciate when a weapon is just specifically different than any other reload animations in the vanilla game. The P90 needs an off screen first person reload, that s#*! bothered me.

7.5/10 (8.5/10 if the Depot wasn't cursed)
