I don't know if this constitues any work or what I need to do personally, but my xbox elite 2 controller works just fine except for a few points: it double taps a when in a pipboy and I can't drop anything. I also cant repair anything as Y instantly wants to go to binding weapons/equipment. any thoughts? I'm at a loss at the point.
THANKS YOU SO MUCH now i can actually drop stuff using the xbox controller coz before all i coude do was repair s#*! THANK YOU <3 oh and will this fix the pipboy readius problems???
I realize i'm a little late to the party, but i'm having trouble with AlexScorpion's pip-boy mods, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Both the readius and the pda work fine when i open it on the keyboard with tab, but when i use the xbox controller's b button, my character raises her arm to the screen then lowers it and the screen darkens. everything works apparently, since i can hear the menu sounds and drop/unequip stuff, but i can't see the pip-boy.
EDIT: looked a little harder and found xpadder. all better.
Iv got a question about using an Xbox360 controller with the pc version of Fallout, I don't know if anyone else has this problem but with my controller its impossible to drop items or place a map marker while in my PipBoy. This only happens when I'm using my controller, and being mostly a console player I prefer it, any help? Thanks.
does this lower sensitivity? i was thinking about using my 360 controller however if this just lowers sensitivity i wont be able to play with it as every game i have ever played i played on max sensitivity and most still feel to slow like halo 3 or COD4
if it does more then just lowering sensitivity could you explain?
even if its just sensitivity its good that you posted this ive noticed a lot of people prefer lower sensitivity and if this has a moderately high sensitivity then you have done many people a big big favor i applaud your work

Lol for the life of me i could not figure out why my pipboy textures wouldnt change, i was turning mods on an off lol
EDIT: looked a little harder and found xpadder. all better.
If you'd like to keep your sensitivity as it is just change
fXenonVertLookSpeed=800.0000
fXenonHorizLookSpeed=800.0000
If you like to have more stability without loosing too much speed
fXenonVertLookSpeed=950.0000
fXenonHorizLookSpeed=950.0000
But I'd still suggest you lower the
fMouseSensitivity
to
fMouseSensitivity=0.0040
Otherwise, you can crank the Sensitivity and just toy with the speed values. It's versatile like that
