Thanks for the tip Quazzy, looking through the save options, I realized that compression/mipmaps are standard options for Gimp.
I named it Gordon Freeman, since the texture is really just inspired by the H.E.V, and not a remake of the true suit. I've yet to successfully tackle meshes(my attempt at a puppet hand to hand weapon didn't work out), so i'll stick with textures.
If anyone has the experience with modeling, and the gumption, feel free to use or modify these textures for any FO3 mod.
Gordon's HEV suit looks good (I mean the screenshots, didn't download yet), but as for coloring, there shouldn't be any gray on it, it was orange and black mainly. Would be good if you would remove the shoulder plates, but that's more than retexturing. Still, good job
Just a slight problem with your textures... they are uncompressed dxt5 with no mipmaps, they should be compressed dxt1 with mipmaps (like the original power armor textures). Every bit of performace help! ">
No sweat SuperMajin, I put much more work in Gordon's texture than in the skeletal suit. The skeletal suit is currently my experiment with putting glow maps with armor, so yes I could definitely improve it ">.
The Pink armor texture was Bethesda's work so I can't take any credit ">
The Gordon Freeman look was awesome! I loved that. I suggest, more of this kind of thing. More video game armors like Gordon's. Some Halo, Iron-Man, War-Machine, MegaMan, Samus, & so on. I have to say the other 2 weren't that great. Sorry.

Those other ideas definitely could be fun.
