Yo thank you so much, finally I can feel like I am firing a real weapon /firearm/laser and not beating two pieces of scrap metal together! It's odd how players/modders can make better sounds than Bethesda.
Dunno if it's anything to do with this mod or just a vanilla issue but I noticed when I was being shot at by an npc with a hunting rifle it sounded exactly like I was shooting it myself ie It didn't sound far away.
Great work. Can't believe this is an actual mod in 2018 with crisp, clear weapon sounds. AND you included reloading. I especially dig the missile launcher sound. If there's one thing you should change, it'd be the volume of the 10mm SMG. Maybe make it a little quieter to match the volume of the assault rifle.
I haven't checked this mod out yet, but if you're not happy with a sound level, you can fix it using FO3Edit. Just open up the mod, look for the sound folder, and then under sound attenuation cdb, increase the value for the individual weapon. Say if it were set to 400... just increase it to something like 700. Then save and test it out. Sound levels are a personal preference after all. The mod author could spend forever trying to make everyone happy and not succeed. xxxEdit is your friend. ^^
I'm actually very familiar with editing/modding tools. It was just a suggestion, as I found every other sound to be just right, since they match the volume of the vanilla weapons.
I was testing out the weapon sounds during, turns out the gatling laser and the minigun didn't work since the sound has to be in-synced. Reason why I added them in the mix since I thought it would go well, didn't work out.

Edit: I'm from the future to tell you that the NPC firing sounds should be mono now
wpn_riflehunting_fire_3d.wav is still stereo.
Unless you think he should help those that can't help themselves... which is what I did with my suggestion. ^^
