So far so good - working as intended. I have no other mods installed that mess with vendor caps, and am (only) level 15, but so far all the vendors I've returned to after giving them a 3 day waiting period before I installed this mod (just to be safe and let the vendors reset) - they have 30K caps or slightly over and are trading/selling goods with me just fine. Caps are being put in inventory. No issues and now I don't have to run all over the wasteland trying to sell all my crap!
Oh and you forgot Cutter's chem inventory if that matters, adding it to total of 60k caps of trade if one has that much inventory to trade off to one person.....
Also don't forget to add a Z in front of the filename so when you add it to the data folder, it gets loaded after the Zeta pack to ensure that doesn't override whatever this has done....
Wasn't there a console command you could manually type in to increase vender caps? I thought I remember reading it somewhere but forgot where and can't find where I found it..... :/
This mod has screwed up my game. All vendors have now huge amounts of caps. But whenever I sell anything I get no money in return and both mine and the vendor's caps stay the same. So basically I'm just giving them my items for free.
because you have other mods that mess with the vendor caps, or the vendors themselves. any mod that adds things directly to the vendor chests, all the inventory would have been copied into the mod, including the caps. if any mod you have adds more caps, there is the prob, its one or the other, not both. there is a 30k limit on money built into the game, you can still trade up to 30k and still get your money. if you know how, you can use FO3 edit and look for where caps might have been added. as i dont know what mods you might be running, i cant even begin to guess.
Doesn't seem to work, though it could be a conflict with the OTHER vendor cap mod I downloaded the "lore friendly" one that levels up with you. Suddenly my vendor have 60000 caps and even though I handed him stuff, I got no caps in return. ARGH.
Maybe you should have a version that is only 15K or 20K caps, "just in case".
use one or the other, you can only use one. im sure its not compatible with any other vendor money mods. bethesda made it very difficult to mess with vendor money, i read in the scrips "(to prevent player from getting super rich)" they dont want you making money in-game. i did the best i could with what i was able to figure out.

Thanks so much for the simple and effective mod!
Otherwise it works.
Good job.
