Thank you all for your comments. I had this idea about two years ago, but I never knew how to do it until now that I'm learning to work with Blender. I'm still an apprentice. Note:He is not and was never be meant to be a companion (for obvious reasons). You can't interact wiht him either.
The Lone Wanderer could be able to pick the arm, now an interactable object (weight 100 because of course), then with a high repair skill (say, 90-100 because lel) and an awful lot of duct tape/scrap metal/what have you (another 100 weight!) be able to reattach the boy's arm.
This would make him big friendly, meaning it will defend the PC from any hostiles in the area and keep him from turning hostile even if accidentally fired upon. Meaning, the thing won't mind a potshot or two - any more than that and all bets are off. Also no, this won't turn him into a follower I mean come on.
Or the boy could drop a unique weapon, that would be nice too. Or just go on their merry way as always, making this a player challenge just for bragging rights, idk
I'm not saying the author should do it, by any means. I just wanted to share my idea.
He is very, very big to be a follower. If you want to turn him in a companion for your own fun, go to the GECK and reduce his size and the size of its reference. Increase his speed since I reduced it, so he moves slow, like a giant.

His other arm is still at the door of Paradise Falls.
