Nice mod but brahmin steak for slaves lol? Still a vast improvement on the vanilla space...The kids room needs a clean up also, the slavers aren't dumb they wouldn't leave the kids to sleep near toxic waste or they wouldn't be able to sell them when they got sick. I always disable the barrels in there on my playthrough's. Bethesda are so hamfisted sometimes. TY endorsed
I seem to have a problem where all my slaves/guards/followers are teleported to the back-left corner. Furthermore, it seems my slaves are disappearing. Not sure if it is caused by this mod, or some conflict with other mods I run (slaves stick around, buyable slaves, tons of unofficial fixes), but just wanted to give people a heads-up.
(you can say that again!) Sounds like an A.I issue. My mod is simply an expanded world space. I did find that certain NPCs continually ran in and out of the slave house back when I had the game installed. I enslaved the named guard at Vault 101 after returning to it once father had been rescued. That dude wouldn't stay put. :D As for my mod, it is simply an expanded space. Sounds like you have a scripting conflict?
Oh sorry, I didn't mean to post that twice! Thanks for the reply though. I'm not the best when it comes to modding, so hopefully I'll be able to fix this. It wouldn't be because I installed this mod mid-playthrough, would it? In any case, I did really like the space you made, so thanks for that :)
I doubt it matters whether you install mid game. My mod doesn't affect any scripting. I just expanded the space. I would enslave and buy Amata (sp?) to have her as a companion (among a few others). it was important to grab the Vault 101 residents before the vault closed permanently, and found it easy to find the ones I wanted to buy in this space. ... however I do remember some of the slaves would glitch through the doors, running in and out continually. I suspect it was due to the "slaves stick around" script as it also happened before I expanded the slave house.

I think it's just the cupboards in the kitchen. When I made this, these cupboards came up in the Geck. Never thought about it beyond that. This mod was made many years ago and I discovered it when cleaning out my DVD folders. It made sense back then to expand the area as I had mods that kept the slaves I captured. The one room in the original game filled up pretty quickly...also it made sense that if the slaves were to be sold they should have useful skills like cleaning and cooking etc. This mod was built for my personal use....I only uploaded it for anyone to use in anyway they saw fit. I think the cupboards are the only things from a DLC....maybe put it in your Geck and delete them?
Leaf, this is basically abandon-ware. I no longer have Fallout 3 on my gaming rig let alone a Geck. Added to this, I am in the middle of renovating a real house in the country and commuting for 3 hours a day to my job in the city. (which pays for said renovations)_. What happens when you install the mod? Does it crash Fallout? Is it just missing bits? I can't tell as I just made it for my game almost a decade ago. If anyone wants to take this mod and develop it, please be my guest. Try installing it "as is" and see what happens....If your game crashes, uninstall. Thanks, G
Leaf, firstly, I'm sorry my mod didn't work in your game. Secondly, I'm delighted you found a working alternative. If interested, this was the process I used to make the mod; I downloaded the Geck from here; http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php?title=Bethsoft_Tutorial_GECK_Setup.
Then I printed the following tutorial out and modified it to suit my game; http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php?title=Bethsoft_Tutorial_Layout
This site has a lot of tutorials that are helpful and I would have loved back then to have the time to delve deeper into modding, "life is what happens while you are busy making other plans". Have fun, G
