Thank you for reporting. For Fallout 3 - Broken Steel, Xbox 360 Official Update files will be released soon (and compatible with PC game), because version 0.85 causes instability to the game.
I actually have never gotten around to playing the Fallout 3 DLC's, even still all these years later after their release. I wouldn't even have known this was a thing if it wasn't released, thanks for this.
I did play broken steel and I loved it! It honestly feels like a true continuation of the game! However I didn't really play any of the others! I thought the one where you go to save a bunch of these tar covered slaves or whatever they are supposed be, a bit boring and especially forced! It honestly felt like it was a mod....a bad one at that, so I dropped it! I don't know anything about the others!
I do remember starting up Point Lookout and playing it for a bit back when playing FO3 on console. It was a pretty fun starting off but I wish the swamp was more fleshed out with trees and enemies. Also wish that the swampfolk Health/DR was fixed. I can't remember which ones exactly but they absorbed a lot of damage like the Broken Steel creatures and also could dish out extreme amounts of it to you. To be honest, I hate-liked it since it actually felt like a challenge with a level 30 that had 605HP and 2,000 Stimpacks on hand.
Also I just remembered that I beat Operation Anchorage one time now, enjoyed that one pretty nicely. :)
Glad to hear you enjoyed Broken Steel! I wouldn't say The Pitt felt forced to me even though I haven't personally played it. I remember a little bit of it, like how you come across the man and help him out. In some aspects I could maybe understand though. For what it's worth though, each DLC for FO3 and FNV felt completely unique in the experiences they offered to me. Sadly FO4's DLC has been the worst in the series to me, can't believe they actually jacked up the season pass price too for what content they actually offer.
Point Lookout has one stupid feature. Weapons do more damage when used against player than when player uses them.
I have fixed it in my mod "Soldier of Fortune". If you have no patient to play Main Quest, you can terminate it in Vault 112. There are many new quests to play, grouped in several stories. You can play them with or without MQ. Point Lookout quest can also be skipped. Again, there are new quests in Point Lookout, which can be played with or without MQ. The mod mixes Fallout and "Rage" lore. There is a built in slower leveling, which is optional. In fact, almost anything is optional.
There is even SoF to Rage "translation table" in the README file :-). There are no vehicles, however some factions, characters and places are "borrowed". And, there is brutal fighting, like in Rage. Game mechanics is not changed, but there are lot more enemies and they are better armed.
