This mod is amazing for the atmosphere, but the water is quite bright at night. Is there a possible tweak for this?

Nights are darker, so water results brighter...probably yes it could be darkened...but I'm not in Fallout anymore sorry.

I'm on Fo3 again! And thanks to my new hardware now I can play in Ultra quality, all looks better and clearer and so I've perfectly identified the right night grade. A new version with better nights, day colors and clouds is nearly ready...

I've totally changed PC recently and Fo3 refuses to run smooth for now. I have random CTD after a few minutes of gameplay. Well see... but it could be the end for me and Fo3. Also, colors appear too much strong now to me... maybe is the my new monitor...
    Anyway... goodbye, Fallout. Goodbye.

Edit: just to share, my crash problems were related to the Fallout Stutter Remover-Win10 Bug

Thanks amigo. I always used Advanced Nightvision at night so for me the problem was less important, but it looks to be an old one and I don't know how to fix it... a way to set the view of enemies very short at night? With a script? I can't say. Obviously, if you use pip boy light to travel at night, becoming a target makes quite sense... but that's not what happens, right? I can only make a version with lighter nights with my skill, no time to learn new stuff now.

I like dark weather (TheOutbreak's IDoV, Rusted Rose etc), even tried to make my own. And I really love your weather, especially for different moods, depending from region. Keep it up!

Thanks for your support! I'm not been able to make the Outbreak's series work here on my Pc... really don't know why but didn't bored myself working on it. And that's why the later version of Goodbye Blue Sky came to light so... not all bad comes to hurt.

I'm near to release a definitive version, thanks to TheOutbreak Tutorial (oh man, thank you...) where I finally found how to preview time transitions in G.E.C.K. and with this, finally acquired total understanding and precise control of weather colors!

    Version 2.0 will feature:
+ Revamped colors and fog depths
    + Dedicated HDR effects
    + Possibly some new clouds

    11/1 Update:
3 versions are coming: two for HDR use (a new darker one and a lighter based on version 1.96), and one for no HDR based on the older 1.9 version.

    11/2 Update:
Or... since HDR works as it should now, a single version merging all the best. With heavy clouds in DC area (the most bombed, polluted) and lighter climate (like in v1.9666) on the Wasteland desert.

    IMPORTANT FIX:
Someone surely noticed that the night (and the pip-boy lightning) was too dark and contrasted in the city areas. Well I've discovered what was fucking up my dark nights there (a base Image Space Modifier inside Worldspaces) and it is now fixed. A v1.98 will be ready soon.

    11/29
A new (and with some luck fully functional) version is out. Something still missing, like some good dedicated clouds for example... maybe in future. I still don't know what happens to the climate if Megaton goes nuked, but I will discover it soon and I'll see...

    Goodbye.

Thank you very much for your observation. In fact, nights are so dark that even my boosted pip-boy isn't working as it should. The problem is in the night Imagespace Adapter, and I will check to make the pip-boy working as espected, or I will try to mitigate the dark effect. Anyway, no problem to make a version without dark nights... your request will be fulfilled ASAP.

Wow thanks man I have RWD (realistic weapon damages) installed so going outside only to find its gone pitch black and getting shot down by 3 guys was a tad frustrating glad I dont have to worry about that anymore thanks again EDIT: just saw the post saying you made it a bit brighter at night and if I need it any brighter I have yet to test it but it should be ok now so long as I can see the enemy and dont have to fumble around looking for cover lol

Let me know. Now the night is as it should be... dark, but not an absorbing black hole! Yesterday I've travelled from Roosevelt Academy to Megaton at night with the boosted pip-boy and the feel was pretty realistic.

Well well with big thanks @tfdotm333 that pushed me to search in the dark... a new version can come to light! Night have been finally fixed: now you can barely see something, but what's important to me (and for the spirit of the mod) is that my boosted pip-boy light is finally functional in exteriors for, as it was said, travelling in the dark.
@tfdotm333: if you still feel the need for a less dark night, just let me know.

Would you consider making a mod that shuts off the lights in abandoned buildings? It's one thing that's always bothered me about Fallout. No matter where you go there's always a light on. It would be amazing to explore a pitch black factory with only the light of your pipboy to guide you. I only ask because it seems to fit with the mood your mod is going for.

    Cheers

Hi, and thank you. In fact, this is something I was thinking about just some time ago: since this mod was originally born to be the base atmosphere for a (another) dark survival overhaul (something out of my reach, for lack of time and skill) the project was to shut pratically ALL the artificial lights. Anyway your is a nice and lore friendly proposal... some help on identifying those buildings would be really appreciated.

Got tired of HDR lately. So I turned it off and discovered that I like it even more... from the other side, my impression is that distant fog results even more flat now, so I also rolled back to the vanilla settings for the far fog. I'm uploading an alternative 1.8b version soon.
