Description:
For any other old traditionalists still playing Fallout 3
This mod is basically an exploration / shooter with one fairly simple quest to move you through it.
It extends the Red Line metro outside of the DC ruins and adds 9 new cells filled with varying amounts of target practice, as if you hadn't had enough.
Requirements:
Fallout 3, no DLC's required
Install:
Select the zip file with your mod manager/package manager and install it with the Add FOMod option.
Alternatively, extract the contents of the zip file into your Fallout Data Folder and place a check mark next to the RedLineNorth.esp. make sure the archive invalidation is activated.
Its up to you where in your load order the esp goes but I suggest fairly high up.
Uninstall:
Select the Mod with your mod manager and uninstall it with that.
Alternatively, remove the contents of the original zip file you put into your Fallout Data Folder and delete the RedLineNorth.esp file.
Game play:
Go to the Raider camp above Friendship Station Metro entrance in the DC wasteland. There is a tent there and inside there is an ammo box. Open it and it starts there. If unsure there is an image of it to give you a clue.
I always like my dungeons quite dark so take a torch and yes, bad things do lurk in the shadows
Difficulty:
I've aimed this mod at a medium level player. There are no super villains so if your character is quite high level it shouldn't be too difficult.
Companions:
Bring them all and go anywhere. But it might be a bit cramped if there are too many
Compatibility:
This mod does alter some existing Fallout 3 cells, albeit in a minor way. Unless another mod tries to modify the exact same location there should be no compatibility problems.
Known Issues or Bugs:
There is a custom shotgun that does not have a completely suitable reload animation, so the existing used in the game is a compromise
I've tested this as much as I can but this is a beta version
Feedback:
I would like to hear any constructive comments or feedback you have on this mod. Please let me know if you find any bugs, etc so I can fix them. Any un-constructive comments will be brutally ignored.
