It is a good idea. There few things as annoying as Youtube mod reviews where PC and opponents are shooting each other in the face from point blank range. It is the end for me, most of the time. PC wins such "engagements" thanks to unlimited supply of stimpacks, among other things. 'Tactics' seem to be sort of a forbidden word in Fallout community and many members are 'bravely' committing "banzai" charges against the enemy using overpowered modded weapons and mountains of stimpacks. Tactics is for cowards.
Personally, I don't need this mod. I am selling stimpacks. Not all of them but most. I am trying very hard to avoid ad limit the damage to my armor.That keeps me from acting as target practice for opponents. It means taking cover, hiding, avoiding open spaces, engaging enemies from the distance, using Dart Gun a lot. Also, I am using my own mod, "Soldier of Fortune" which has PC outnumbered and outgunned most of the time, those who do not use tactics are getting killed before they can use stimpacks,
Let me suggest another idea. Perhaps there might be an addiction to stimpacks added to the game. Less likely than addition to other chems, perhaps.
Excellent idea, friend. I would think of really negative side effects though, (it would need to be anyway) like less HP, dizziness or something harder to make like shakes when you aim. I'll see what I can do.
