I was running a conflict report and noticed that you removed a navmesh from the broken steel master with this mod. I don't see any reason for it, and I'm wondering if this was a mistake. I think somebody told me once that this a common edit glitch that can happen in the Geck. I saw this in another mod where it wasn't needed either. Deja-vuI mean, why would you need to delete a navmesh when all you're doing is removing ownership.
I'm going to go ahead and edit the mod myself to correct this.
That's... Not helpful. . You say: here's a bug. I know how to fix. I won't post the fix, do yourself. If anything will make people look and not want to download it. . Also, have you considered that not everyone knows how to use FO3Edit? I don't. I only have a very basic idea of what even is a navmesh. It has something to do with area and movement and companions... But i don't have any idea of how it works or how to fix it. . And when you say i'm bothering you because i asked for a fix YOU said you had... Of a bug YOU reported... . Well... of course i'm asking. You just said you had! Anyone would ask. Is that strange that i would ask your fix? . It really bothers you? That people see that you know stuff and ask for help? I would appreciate help. . And again, you don't have to be helpful. I get it. You didn't make the mod. Fix this it's pitabox987's problem. It's not your job to help people and be nice. . But it doesn't cost caps either.
Hilarious !! You spent more time writing this rant, than it would have taken you to download FO3Edit, and the tutorial for it. I mean, if you're that worried about mod edits, you should really help yourself. Otherwise, just be a plug-n-play dullard like most peeps on here.
FYI: Both are available on the Nexus. Just use the search engine... or, do you want to come over to my house and learn how to mod your game?
P.S. I can't post another mod authors work, without their permission. I don't care enough to get it... just to please you. You're not the center of the universe. Now, run along. I'm done here. ^^
Truth is, Nexus asked him to go. Not sure why he was given the courtesy of closing his account, but they were definitely fed up with his behavior. But that's all in the past now. We have new friends now to keep us company. ^_^
The Family immediately comes to mind. :/ You enter the Family and you've got their gate guard...turn his radio off and it's fighting time...enter the settlement and they're ALL ready to kick your ass...for turning off a radio. :/ My second biggest pet peeve of this game, right after, "Yes that's locked and yes I can see you eyeing it."
Azhurkahl (sp?) the ghoul in Underworld who owns Charon's contract is hysterical, tho...turn off his radio and he immediately turns it back on and says stuff to you like " Don't turn that off...why would you DO that???" I sometimes spend a good 5 minutes just turning his radio off to annoy him.
All I did was make all the radios in the game 'ownerless', this should stop Robert in the Meresti Tunnels becoming hostile if you mess with his radio.
Azhurhahl is hilarious I agree, I was even considering making a script make him hostile if you turn of his radio say 10 times lol, but my scripting isn't all that good.
The main one that comes to mind is Project Purity, turn off the radio in Bigsley's office and it makes Bigsley and all other BoS personnel in the area hostile, I've always found that one annoying (funny too in a way)...
I think there are a couple of other radios that have ownership set to certain NPCs so I just did all the radios I could find in came files (I think the only places with wroking radios are the base game and Broken Steel. - There are none in Op Anchorage, Point Lookout, The Pitt or Zeta.
