Except that realistically, the Radiation Suits offer little-to-no factual protection against radiation, as they're not thick enough to stop radiation particles. In this regard, if Power Armor was to be made of lead, it'd make more sense for it to give you radiation resistance. But, I suppose that since it's a game, it's a welcome mod indeed
Thanks so much for this. Makes the radiation suits a bit more integral, rather than just some wearable chem.
Using this with Simple Realism which nerfs the hitpoints while vastly upping the radiation. Now, reaching the decks of Rivet City demands a proper rad suit, med-x and a lot of fast swimming!
I've just returned to Fallout 3 and am very happy to have found your mods Celticgirl. I'm loving this one and the Essential Player one. Thanks for sharing.
This sounds like a mod that will add realism and immersion to the game. Has this mod been tested with such "radiation enhancing" mods like "FWE" and "MrSlackPants Radiation" at this time?
I'm amazed that this hasn't been done. Excellent idea with having it condition dependant as well. I'll be getting the vegas version due to TTW but I'll endorse here too.
Thanks for sharing. Edit: The FNV version is dated 2013, how did I miss that???? Oh well late to the party. Thanks for bringing over to FO3
