I downloaded the 1.0.4-17628-1-04.zip and it says it's the fallout 4 version, but I downloaded I from the Fallout 3 listing. I thought the 1.0-22270-1-0 was the Fallout4 one from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/22270 And the TOS Phaser 1_02-57125-1-02 was the one for LasVegas?
If you went through Vortex it might have lumped them all together or something, they're not all on the same mod page. 1.0.4 is the Fallout 4 version, and is on the Fallout 4 nexus, 1.0 is Fallout 3 and 1.02 is New Vegas.
Thank you for the quick reply. I didn't use vortex, I tried to manually install the one file. but good news, I got it to work. I had to use the FOMM to activate/install the mod from the zip file. If I try any other modes, going forward, I'll try the same process. Thank you for making this mod and I look forward to trying it out in FO4 and LV
I only just realized that you also have a NV version. I find that the FO3 locations fit better, but still, could I merge in things from the NV version? And for that matter, could I also be allowed to port some of your other FO3 weapons.
It's been a long time since I played Fallout 3 so my memory of the building is hazy, but from what I can recall it's sitting on a desk next to a computer. If there's no sign of it, make sure the mod is active/deployed. If you're using Vortex it can be a little fussy, so try re-deploying it. And, of course, the big one, make sure you're not trying to use this mod on Fallout 4. Also check if you have any conflicts; mods that change the interior of Hubris Comics can affect whether or not the phaser can be found.
Hi, i don't know why, but my phaser is blue, it was working last time i installed it, but i tried to reinstall it a couple of times, but that didn't work, do you know what caused this? and i also have the assault phaser installed, which is glowing blue. Update: i don't know how, but now its flickering different colours, between blue, orange, a half black/white version and a glowing version.
Is the beam changing colors or is the phaser model itself changing colors? In either case I don't know how that could be happening, outside of some other mod you have installed doing something wacky, neither of them are supposed to wildly change color or glow like how you're describing. If you could provide a screenshot or video, too, that'd be helpful.
That's very odd. The first two look like it's missing its texture for some reason, while the orange one looks like it has a fire shader effect or something on it? The same effect looks like it's on the assault phaser too, but brighter. I don't recall running into this kind of issue when I played Fallout, so some other mod must be doing this. Do other weapons get these odd visuals or only the phaser's? And, have you tried turning off your other mods except the phasers?
Only other thing I could think of is something with an ENB, but it doesn't look like you have one if the screenshots are any barometer. See if things are properly set up for archive invalidation; bInvalidateOlderFiles should be set to 1 in the Fallout.ini, that being set to 0 could be preventing the game from properly loading the phaser's textures.

If you're sure you have the Fallout 3 version installed, make sure the mod's active/deployed; per the description the phaser's parked next to a terminal in the Hubris Comics building, so as long as things are running proper it should stick out like a sore thumb.
If I have this and the Assault Phaser mod both installed, do they share power packs, or will I have two separate ammos with the same name in inventory?
They won't share each other's ammo if both mods are installed. Just as well because, realistically, the Assault Phaser's packs wouldn't be at all compatible with the TOS phaser's and vice-versa.
I tried to download it but it came up "Incomplete" in the mod manager and it's not the only mod that comes up with that, am I doing something wrong or is there something else I need to download first?
Neither; if that's happening not just to this mod, but others, it's more than likely a Nexus server issue, and NMM or whatevs it be you're using is returning "Incomplete" because its connection timed out. Just try downloading again now or wait until later.
I'm not finding the phaser in the referenced room, just the cells. There is some conflict with another weapon mod? I have added a lot of them in my game... Thxs
This looks like the Phaser 2266 Type-2 from the Original Series, did you also do the Type-1 (just the black unit without the base)? It would be less powerful, but more compact and perhaps useful when a lesser weapon is appropriate. And then you could do the stun settings, perhaps like the mezzer. It does look like a nice mod!
Makes sense, it would need a new animations. As far a the stun part, having a stun version that would stun the opponent long enough to take belongings would be fun. Essentially the same animation as the Mesmetron only with an extended time, as the subject comes out of mezz fairly quickly.

Martyrs Weapons Pack have a conflict. The phaser just disappear.
Simply unload the pack, get the phaser and load again.
