Great looking shotgun! I would very much like a replacer version of this mod to do away with the fugly vanilla BS shotgun that Bethesda made... So far no luck finding a model that both looks good AND can be GECK'ed to work right... I haven't tried this yet but the description and screens look promising! Doesn't seem right that enemies cant spawn with this but I can have one... I know how to stat the shotguns to be ineffective vs armor, add knockdown, adjust spread, reduce buckshot limb damage, and adjust damage per buckshot but don't know how to replace the vanilla shotguns or add this one to the leveled list. I'm just not finding where in the GECK to make that work. Also I don't have the location on my map yet and the additem command has never worked for me. Other console commands work but for some reason never that one... If you could make a replacer that would be great for us looking for a quality made gun! If you cant, your still cool, but if anyone can drop a hint or two on how I can please let me know. I'm still learning what the GECK can do and don't like to break my sh*t!
I downloaded the mod and found the shotgun but I can't pick it up. I can grab the grenades but not the gun. Please help. I have no texture mods for the area. Never mind, the gun had clipped into the bench so I noclipped into the gun to grab it.
Hello Prensa !!! Well my favorite of all is still 'Jack Harper's' rifle simply because it was a Nifskope mash. But make no mistake about it, any weapon You recreate is formidable indeed. Looks, feels and works Absolutely Fantastic . I did say that I cheated and dropped one in Springvale just to test it out. Love that I could actually purchase ammo for it. But as Always, You Pretty much take the cake in anything You do. Excellent addition to my ever growing arsenal in spite of the fact I had to start over. Too COOL, Thank You Prensa !!!!!
Everything that You do is Absolutely FANTASTIC !!!!!

That rifle still has a special place with me too, for the same reason. The most complex mash-up weapon I made, just before finally learning & moving to Blender for model making.

Making me blush.

Love the shotgun! But I'm having an odd problem with it. It works perfectly except in VATS. In VATS it plays the firing animation and ejects shells, but has a very long delay before it actually fires, so that the monsters get to beat on me for free for 10 seconds or so! That's with vanilla ammo and without the RH patch, since I don't use RH. That's the first time I've ever seen a weapon do this.
P.S.: Nevermind. I had apparently caused the problem myself, by setting the "is automatic" flag in F03Edit. I unticked it, and the problem is gone. I do like the other stat changes I made though. The shotgun is perfect for me now.

Glad you got to the bottom of the issue!
Some weapon settings can have knock on effects for animations, like the Animation Type & Grip Animations. Takes a bit of trial & error sometimes but you can create some interesting changes.
It is fun tweaking mods to your own tastes with FO3Edit & it's a great way to learn how mods tick.
"Any plans on more 2000 / Judge Dredd stuff? Big fan over here! Maybe some more armor or helmet variations?"
I'm really pleased you like this!
The only related Dredd stuff planned at the moment are a few more badge name packs, whenever I'm feeling like knocking some more out.
I did have an idea for a possible variant uniform but nothing definite.
As for other 2000AD related characters, Rogue Trooper gear would be neat but I've not seriously considered it, you never know though. Would need to have a custom G.I. race too for the blue guy.
A big thank-you kindly to everyone who voted "Mega-City One Judge Widowmaker Shotgun" for file of the month, September 2016.
It's got the top spot with equal votes going to the number two spot " DV's Footsteps Sounds overhaul" so congratulations to DeutscherVolker & the others in the list too.
Only my second ever File of the month so quite chuffed.

"Judging -no pun intended-"
You have been found guilty of making an unlawful pun...
"from the pictures, this looks like a pump-action shotgun; if so, does it have a reload animation to match?"
It does look a bit like a pump action, the design has clearly been influenced by the famous Franchi SPAS-12 which is pump or semi auto.
The film model is actually built on a Beretta A302 semi auto & in the film it does indeed fire, in quick succession, in semi auto.
Also the box magazine would be a bit in the way of a pump's operation.
So I opted to go with a semi auto function for the shotgun.
There is a pump action animation for Fallout 3 by Rogue Hallow:
animationhttps://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/15883?tab=files
But it was never completed & thus lacks a few details, It is still fun though.
Hope that answers your question!

But, if you ever feel bored, you could maybe try making some helmet variants. You're a talented modder!
Thanks for your work!
"Suck to hear."
You never know though, I did not plan the Widowmaker originally but ended up making it.
"I will still enjoy the hell out of your work."
Glad to hear it!

An SJS variant helmet keeps tempting me.

If you make the Special Judicial Squad Helm imma found where you live and the drinks are on me!
" Does this mod come with the armor as well? "
No, the Judge's armor is a separate mod found here:

This is just the Widowmaker shotgun & it's ammo.
Hope this helps!

"Can you port this to Fallout New Vegas?"
Afraid not as I don't own New Vegas, I've yet to overcome my dislike of STEAM.
However I've nothing against porting to New Vegas so, as long as I'm asked, I would approve if someone else wanted too.
Dodo1990 already ported the Mega-City One Judge Armor and Weapons mod to New Vegas so it's always possible someone will want to.
Thanks for the interest!

I really appreciate that people take the time to vote for the file.
Funnily enough both of my mods that made File of the Month were Dredd related.
