    Gonna try this out and see if it works!

    Edit:It works.Unfortuantly,that means I cant use the essential companion mod that makes companions get knocked out instead of being killed.Ugh.Gonna unfortuantly pass on this since I rather have my companions essential.Such a shame.But still.Nice someone finally made this that doesnt require some sort of overhaul to use.

      why don't you use console command to make them essential instead of using a mod?

    Too bad this don't work for bittercup companion mods, I have a few mods that lets you rehire a few temporary companions like cherry from dukov's Cherry Follower - Rehire Cherry by gregfed so Does this work for permanent or temporary companions?

      It only works for permanent vanilla companions. It's not a universal system, but rather specifically adding an AI package to each companion, an x marker for those packages to target, and dialogue options to move their x marker and choose between the new package or vanilla behavior.

    thank you for this mod the only one that sets home marker for companions for fo3, there is now one of these for fo3.fonv,fo4 and skyrim I'll endorse.

    as alternate idea, you can move just marker companions go to at default places to new location (moveto script command), only problem will be before uninstall of mod, markers through dialogue will have to be reset to vanilla x,y,z coords but no AI packages will be touched or any data of NPC's. =)

      Thanks for the suggestion. The problem with that method though is that not all of them sandbox by a marker when dismissed by default. It would work for Cross and to a lesser extent dogmeat (who uses a much shorter distance sandbox.) But by default Butch sandboxes around a woman in Rivet City, Clover sandboxes specifically within Eulogy's house, and Charon sits in a specific chair. The rest I don't remember off hand.

      I just made this because I felt bad no one else was really around to fill the request, but the user didn't end up using it, so I'll just leave it here in case anyone else wants it. I'm not worried. It didn't take long to make and I may end up using it, myself anyway.
